Our Mission, Our Vision
Celebrating 16 years of pre-school service. Established in April 1994, The Chestnut Tree Pre-school Inc, is a non-profit charitable organization offering Nursery Care services for Pre-School Children provided by our certified early child care providers and volunteers, whose mission is to promote the social, physical, emotional and intellectual growth of our pre-school children. Our vision is to provide a positive learning environment for your child that enhances his or her level of development through play. Your child will be exposed to situations that will stimulate:
Curiosity, initiative and independence;
Self-esteem and decision making capabilities;
Interaction with and respect for others;
Physical activity and developing gross motor skills;
Communication skills; and
Fine motor development
Admission conditions
The Chestnut Tree Pre-school has two facilities one in Stoney Creek and one in Grimsby.
Both facilities can accommodate 16 children aged 2 ½ to 5 years, in four different programs: 2 day morning session, 2 day afternoon session, 3 day morning session and 3 day afternoon session.
