Minds On Child Care and Homework Club offers a variety of child care and homework support options, provided by a certified and experienced elementary school teacher (and mom) for parents and children.
During the school year, we offer full/part time and temporary after school care for school aged children who live in the area.
Weekend and evening care may also be provided upon request.
Also available- Temporary child care available for during March Break, Christmas break and summer weeks.
Homework Club is also available as part of after school care or as a separate drop in service for parents who would like their kids supported to complete challenging work in a timely manner.
Both after school care and homework Club programs include daily physical activity, healthy snacks, chunking of large homework tasks and on going, specific feedback to both students and parents with respect to progress.
Intensive remedial, academic programs and pre-kindergarten readiness programs combined with temporary March Break, Christmas summer care are also available.
Admission conditions
For After school/homework club children must reside in the immediate area and attend any of the following schools: St Stephen, Sacred Heart, St Agnes and Terry Fox.
Children are not required to live in the immediate area for summer, Christmas, March Break, evening and weekend care/homework help.
