A warm, fun, loving environment where children can explore their world while playing and learning. Morning and afternoon snack and lunch are provided for alternating JK/SK kids ($35/full day, $20/before and after school). Before and after school snacks provided for before and after school children ($20/day).
I am certified in First Aid/CPR and defibrillator use. I have experience working with children with learning disabilities. I have taken many ECE and DSW courses and have considerable related work experience.
We have a climber and swing set in our backyard and back onto a playground so there will be ample outdoor play. As well, we will spend time each day reading, playing, learning, and sharing and I am willing to help with homework.
We back onto Harrison Public School so children attending Harrison can be walked to school. The bus to George Kennedy is boarded in front of Harrison, and children from Centennial can all walk together. Children out of the immediate school area can apply for optional attendance busing. Many of the schools will provide busing to students out of the immediate area.
Due to the fact that I do care for other children, it is usually not possible for me to physically drive children to their separate schools (unless they are late or the weather permitting). I have information about out of area busing if this is of interest.
Occasional hours are available.

We have a very friendly cat, so children with allergies to cats may want to rethink our child care.
Unfortunately, at this time, I am unable to honour any subsidies that you may qualify for.
We are peanut, strawberry, blackberry, and raspberry free due to allergies.
Price may vary depending on special needs, full or part-time care, and whether your child brings his/her own snacks/supplies. |
