Occasional care available in a safe, family-style environment.
Are you a stay-at-home parent in need of occasional childcare? Do you have an appointment, or need some time to finish a project? Do you have errands to run (like holiday shopping!) and don't really want to bring the kids along? Or do you want some special time with one child, while the others are safely cared for? Occasional daycare available in Orleans on Thursday afternoons and all day Fridays. Hourly, half-day, and full-day rates available.
I provide a safe, loving environment in a smoke-free home. A typical day includes free play, circle time (learning, stories, and songs), crafts, outdoor play, and nutritious snacks and meals. Children are encouraged to have fun in a relaxed yet nurturing and educational atmosphere.
Children play in our large basement playroom, as well as the family room on the main level. We use the dining room table for mealtimes and some of our messier crafts! We have a great time in the fenced-in backyard, which has a large play structure as well as a smaller slide and a swing for younger children. There are also several parks within walking distance.
I have first-aid and CPR training, an up-to-date police records check, and I am a member of the Child Care Provider’s Resource Network (CCPRN). I have two children of my own (ages 1 and 3 years) and I have been involved with children for years, including teaching chemistry to young children with the Association for Bright Children for 13 years.
