"Dear Parents,
My apologies for the delay of the reply to this review. I was not aware that it was on my page. I have been busy caring for a full house and was not taking on new children. Therefore, I was not regularly reviewing this page. As well, this person lives on my street and sees me fairly regularly. I never heard a single word from her.
This situation happened because I decided that I did not want to take on the child’s parents as clients. From the beginning I had a hunch that there would be issues but decided to give the parents the benefits of the doubt and a fair chance. After just two days it became apparent to me that the contents of my childcare policy would not be respected. The timelines and pre-agreed payments were not honored. In fact, they still owe money that has not been paid. I terminated after four days.
Their child was having a difficult time adjusting but this was not the main issue. I am sure that in time, the child would have adjusted if I continued her care. She was very well cared for and I urge parents to ask themselves what reasonable person would give a zero as a review?
Not everyone is going to like me and that is okay. I operate a quality childcare establishment and take pride in my work. For me, it means that I take on clients who agree with my philosophy on childcare. Childcare is a two-way street, after all, I am not providing a hamburger with coke or a car wash. My facility provides a most important service: to raise our most precious resource into well rounded and well nourished children. In order for me to do that, my environment must be free from unnecessary stress. I do not wish to run around for payment or constantly reschedule.
I do sympathize for the poor planning of the child’s parents, but it is clearly stipulated in my agreement that there is a two-week trial period at the beginning of any new care.
To clarify, there are two rooms upstairs in which children sleep. This particular child did not share a room with another child while in my care.
Thank you kindly for your understanding.
Best Regards,
Krysten Alexeenko"
