"Amanda cared for my son for nearly 2 years and we were so glad to have found her! We love how she taught him social and life skills like being kind and respectful to younger kids, tidying up and dressing independently when going outside. She was able to keep up with his boundless energy and always had fun activities and toys to keep him busy. We never had to worry when dropping him off at daycare since we knew he’d be in good hands."

"Amanda has cared for all three of my children at Silly Little Bees over the last 8 years. She is an amazing caregiver, providing routines and structure, indoor and outdoor activities, and nutritional meals that the children like to eat. Amanda also works hard to teach life skills (e.g. tidying up, crossing the street, taking turns) in developmentally appropriate ways. She knows the children well and plans activities that will appeal to their interests and encourage learning. She also nurtures relationships between the children in her care, and teaches them how to be good friends. Our kids still play often with their friends from Silly Little Bees, even though they go to different schools. When preparing to return to work after each of my babies turned one, I did not worry at all. It was always extremely reassuring to know that my children were with Amanda, and every afternoon I would pick up happy kids who didn't want to leave!"

"Amanda is a fantastic daycare provider and we feel extremely fortunate to have found her! Our son is very shy and we were nervous with how he would adjust to daycare, but Amanda has been incredibly patient and kind with him, and he now loves going to spend the day with his friends. We also love the atmosphere of the Silly Little Bees daycare--lots of toys, natural light, healthy food, and fun activities. I don't think we could recommend Amanda enough!"

"Amanda had been our first son's daycare provider for a year, as he goes to school now. We wish we found her sooner!! He loved going there from day one, and always excited to go there in the morning. He made friends with other children that went there, and also with her daughter. I loved that the whole family actually interacted and play with my son. They really made him feel like part of their family. I was able to go to work without worry everyday, knowing that he's in a good hand. I also loved that she sent her menu through email everyday to all of her clients. She also took pictures and sent them to me every now and then, I really appreciate that.

"Choosing to send our daughter to Silly Little Bees daycare has turned out to be the best decision we could have made. Right from the interview Amanda welcomed us into her home and really into her family life. Being first time parents she provided us with excellent advice on how to make our decision and was able to provide a number of glowing references on her behalf. Amanda is professional and puts the needs of the children in her care first and foremost. She makes sure to provide a healthy lunch and snacks, a clean environment and communicates how the day went with each family. Now that we see how much our daughter has grown and learned we couldn't be happier with the decision we've made. Not only is Amanda fantastic but the whole family is involved in the care our daughter receives each and every day."

"We've been part of the Silly Little Bees family for over 3 years now and have two kids in Amanda's care. We are so happy with the care our children have received and truly feel that Amanda's is our children's home away from home. She provides a welcoming and clean environment. Amanda's communication with parents is excellent, and I feel like I have a good understanding of what happens throughout the day. My children love Amanda and even say "awww!" on the weekends when we say there's no daycare that day. Overall, I highly recommend Amanda as a daycare provider and can't say enough wonderful things about her."

We have been so happy to have our boys in Silly Little Bees, will keep them there as long as possible (the oldest starts school in the fall). Amanda provides exceptional care, and the kids have all become like family to each other - her other clients and her daughter are my children's best friends. We are grateful for Amanda's professionalism and her ability to meet the children's needs as they go through different developmental stages. "Amanda is great with our two girls (age 2 and 4) - she has a perfectly balanced recipe of love, discipline, fun and routine! Amanda provides a variety of activities including outdoor play, crafts, and theme days. Our daughters are both very comforatble at Silly Little Bees; as are my husband and I, knowing that they are well cared for in our absence. We have been using Amanda's services for nearly a year now; since I returned to work after maternity leave and I would definitely recommend Silly Little Bees to anyone in search of a great, reliable daycare."

"My husband and I are grateful every day that we found Amanda and Silly Little Bees. Our son was very attached to us and we were concerned about his transition to day care. We arrived at her house for our interview feeling nervous, but we left convinced that we had found the right place for our little guy! Amanda makes parents and children feel completely at ease with her sense of calm and confidence. The needs of the children in her care always come first. She meets the children at their level and helps them to build their skills and independence over time. They thrive on the relaxed routine and safe space for fun that Amanda has created.

"I don't think there is enough space in this little box to properly describe the kind of positive impact Amanda of Silly Little Bees Daycare had on my daughter! My daughter is an exceptionally shy and quiet little girl. She is very strongly attached to me and has a difficult time adjusting to new environments and especially new people. After a disappointing first daycare experience with another provider I was skeptical about how effective Amanda would be. Neither my daughter nor I wanted anything to do with daycare anymore. However, during our interview with Amanda my daughter was instantly comfortable. By the time we were done talking my shy little girl walked off down the hall holding Amanda's hand.
