I obtained services from this daycare centre / preschool and I find that:
"As a staff member who previously worked at LFLF I would not recommend this centre to families looking for quality care for their children. Ingrid, the director, has minimal to no experience in the field of education and undervalues/underpays all of her staff. Staff are not respected as educators and rather than being provided with the time and resources to properly educate the children they are expected to clean the centre and perform other tasks that cut down on costs. Staff are instructed to not properly inform families of their child's development, as she wants families to see the centre in her image.
This easily explains the endless staff turnover that this centre has experienced in the last few years. This is a business, not a school. Emphasis is placed on products created by the children rather than actual learning, as staff often do the art for child portfolios themselves. The children were always kept safe and the quality of the environment was immaculate, however the education and management leave something to be desired."

I obtained services from this daycare centre / preschool and I find that:
"My daughter attended Little Feet Little Faces a few years ago, and now that we have another little one almost ready for school, we are definitely looking to enroll her as well. This is because we were very happy with our first daughter’s experience at the school as a whole. The teachers were great and the director was always very welcoming to us as well as being very accommodating with any issues such as our food requests in regards to allergies and restrictions, our potty training needs and even our specific nap time needs. My daughter enjoyed what she ate at the school, I often picked her up during lunch time when the weather was nice and enjoyed seeing the foods that were made just for the children. I always noticed that the school was very creative in the kitchen making all the foods into small bites and often hiding vegetables and meats so that my daughter would eat them without noticing that they were there. God bless! I sure don’t have the patience to cut every morsel of food that tiny! My daughter also learned a lot at the school to make her more advanced than her other classmates once she started the public setting. She was more advanced in her language skills and more prepared in her numbers and math skills. I also liked the extra programming that was included at Little Feet Little Faces, such as dance, yoga, music and arts as they don’t get much of that in the public setting. Those programs are very minimal or non-existent in the public schools which is very unfortunate since I believe these kind of programs are very important in a child’s development. They even have an art portfolio that contains all their artwork each month! My daughter always felt like such a true artist whenever we took the portfolio home and she got to look at all that she had accomplished in that month. She always looked forward to when she got to take home her portfolio and was very proud of her work when we talked about each creation. Overall, we are very satisfied that we sent our daughter to this preschool and are very excited to enroll our youngest this upcoming summer!"

I obtained services from this daycare centre / preschool and I find that:
"My 4 year old daughter attended summer camp Tuesdays and Thursdays in July and August 2015. She would tell me what a great time she had every time I picked her up. She especially loved all the dancing, art and piano offered at the school. It is rare, in my opinion, to find a school that offers anything comparable to it. She also enjoyed the special guests that came in during summer camp: one for storytelling and one for yoga class. It was wonderful that the school sent home her artwork in a lovely personalized portfolio that we could keep. I appreciated that the teachers would also sometimes incorporate the letters of alphabet into the art class (which I noticed from looking at her art). The teachers were welcoming, encouraging and kind. My daughter told me that she enjoyed the lunch and snack provided at the school. My drive to get to LFLF was 30 minutes (one way) for summer camp and it was definitley worth it. If I lived closer to the school, I would have signed her up for the school year as well. Thank you LFLF for giving my daughter such a great summer camp experience."

I obtained services from this daycare centre / preschool and I find that:
"My children attended LFLF for 3 years (2012-2015). During that time, I would say that I was a big advocate for the school. However, things started a downward spiral in 2015. There was way too much turnover in the staff and too much inconsistent information coming from the school director that I decided not to reenlist. I contacted 6 of the 8 staff members who left and they all said their major reasons for leaving were such low pay and poor treatment by the director. This school sounds/looks great on paper, but when you look deeper into the details I worry it falls short… it oversells itself. The French classes aren’t structured enough (singing the same songs for 3 years doesn’t mean my kid is being taught the language. If asked how to say “hello” or “good-bye” in French, my kids can’t answer correctly. They don’t even know simple phrases like “my name is…”). After the “good” piano teacher left, the new staff member didn’t bring the same bravado to the lessons and the kids lost interest… but of course no refunds were offered. There was a big conspiracy around the food served; teachers were seeing the director delivering groceries to the kitchen in Dollar Store bags. When confronted by parents, the director denied it and immediately instructed the staff to reply “no comment” if any parents inquired about it further… Why are we as parents (the ones who pay the tuition which pays for the groceries) put in the dark by the staff? Why can’t the staff be honest with us? “No comment” isn’t an appropriate answer in my opinion. Why is there a Whole Foods icon on the website? The director keeps her 3 very small dogs upstairs in her office everyday… which is something she has never disclosed to the parents. I feel that’s an appropriate piece of information that should be public knowledge; I don’t want any random accident happening with my kids and a dog. Again, why all the secrecy? So many other preschools and elementary schools try to incorporate parental involvement as much as possible. At LFLF, I felt like we were kept at arm’s length. Overall, I feel like my kids were safe and well looked after. It was great that both kids could be in a learning environment all day long at the early age of 2 years, given naps and outside time, and they both made some really great friends. My issue is did I really get what I paid for? Could I have received the same level of care and quality in a public setting rather than paying private prices? I guess I’ll find out this year as my kids will be attending the local public school!"

I met with this daycare centre / preschool and I find that:
"They share the same toilet and don't sanitize or allow children's own potty seats. Any request you make they would say no. Very not accommodating. Basically everything you ask for, they'd rather inconvenience the child or the parent so they can have what they want. They need to hire more teachers. If you're even late for a minute, they charge you a ton of money and say it's due to their ratios. Well, then hire one more teacher so you're not so constrained! If you're potty training your child, they don't work with you on potty training. They say they will but they don't. They tell you your child cannot have accidents at school or they'll throw a diaper back on the child. For those parents who have spent a long time potty training, this is a huge downfall and it tells your child they can again begin to go potty in their diaper. They also don't teach anything. My child didn't learn anything there. They are overly expensive and your child learns nothing. Piano lessons are a joke. What I taught my child in 2 days (20 minutes a day) they couldn't do in 3 whole months!!! Don't go here. The food is bad too and they don't give your child enough. They give them 2 spoon fulls (due to the extremely small bowls), don't allow enough time to eat, and only serve you second portion (2 more spoonfuls) if your child asks."

I met with this daycare centre / preschool and I find that:
"- Cold and poor quality meals
- Children do not wash their hands through out the day
- Children spend most of the day moving from one room to another instead of engaging in process based activities"
