"Our son will have been with Cynthia for two years by the time he starts school this fall. We found Cynthia's home daycare when we moved to the area and she blew away the other home and center-based providers we interviewed.

"This summer I required some short term child care for my son, and fortunately Cynthia was able to accommodate us. Cynthia is extremely energetic and organized, and communication is top notch. My son has had some health concerns so nutrition is extremely important to us. Cynthia's meals are all home cooked, nutritious and delicious - my son is still talking about the food that Cynthia cooked! Cynthia took the children on outings every day and even organized picnics to make the most of the great summer weather. It is very evident that Cynthia spends a lot of time and energy planning activities and menus for the week. I was very impressed. I felt very comfortable leaving my son with Cynthia - I knew he was in good hands. My son was very happy there and I would recommend her daycare to anyone."

"Cynthia is an excellent provider. You can tell she loves and treats her daycare children like her own. Communication is always open, she's accommodating and respectful of your child's needs and is a pretty good cook.

"Cynthia is our daughter’s Brownie leader. Cynthia always has a a big smile and fun activities to engage the girls. She is easy to talk to and has an amazing understanding of how to relate to children. Her positive attitude and creative ideas make for an delightful evening for the girls. My daughter is always excited to go to Brownies and comes home talking about what she learned and the fun things they did. The meetings are all well planned and there is a website detailing all the upcoming meetings and a weekly email reminding the parents what the girls are supposed to bring and what they will be doing. As a Mom, I love watching my daughter enjoy herself with other girls and Brownie leaders. As a busy Mom, the extra effort from Cynthia around communication and reminders is really appreciated."

"I know Cynthia through my daughter who attends the Brownie group that Cynthia (AKA Wise Owl) runs. Every week at Brownies, there are activities planned that clearly take hours of thought and preparation. My daughter has learned life skills and been exposed to many things she wouldn't otherwise have had a chance to learn about. The Brownies have fun, but are kept safe and orderly thanks to Cynthia's calm manner, and I am happy to leave my daughter in Cynthia's care. My daughter is also very comfortable with Cynthia - Cynthia even helped her get to sleep when she was homesick at a sleepover camp!"

"Our family has gotten to know Cynthia via her role with the Ottawa Brownies (Girls Guides of Canada). Cynthia handles a large group of very enthusiastic girls every week and guides them through a myriad of activities. My daughter has only good things to say about it, and is eager to attend every week. As a mother, I am very appreciative of the care and attention that Cynthia offers despite the large number of children, and the kindness she extends to my daughter. She responds promptly to any questions I may have in between our weekly gatherings and takes time to ensure that my daughter has the best experience as a Brownie. Thank you Cynthia!"

"We are so happy with the care Cynthia provides for our son. When dropping our son off, he greets Cynthia with a smile and a hug. Cynthia provides nutritious and creative meals and snacks for the children. Cynthia takes the children outside almost every day. There is a new theme each week. We appreciate the daily emails that Cynthia sends to update us on how our son is doing that day. We highly recommend Cynthia's daycare!"

"Cynthia is an exceptional childcare provider. She takes care of my son 5 days a week and I trust her completely. She is organized, keeps the children busy with crafts, outdoor play and interactive time. She provides them with breakfast, lunch and a snack, all healthy choices made from scratch. I receive an email from her everyday letting me know how my son is doing. I am very grateful to have found her and I would definitely recommend her services."

"Cynthia is a God-send, as far as I'm concerned. She takes excellent care of our daughter and we feel very lucky to have someone so caring, so calm, so well-organized, and so dependable looking after her. We really appreciate the excellent home-cooked meals Cynthia makes, the weekly themes, how she keeps us up-to-date on what happens throughout the day, and how invested she is in the kids. Her house is bright and inviting, she doesn't rely on TV at all, she doesn't take the kids who-knows-where all over the city on a bus, and she is teaching our daughter all kinds of things including manners and some French, but she is encouraging her to have fun too. I would highly recommend Cynthia as the best option for a home daycare provider."

"My son is just so happy when I drop him off at Cynthia's daycare. I know that when I leave him for the day that he is in good hands. Cynthia is just great for him and keeps me updated on his day and what he likes to eat or not. She is very organized and I am really pleased with her services so far. Would recommed her to anyone!"
