"I have been grateful everyday in the last 4 years having Belkis AKA Tia Belkis take care of my son David. She is a big part of why I have a happy, healthy well adjusted little boy ready for school in the next few weeks!
She is reliable and often goes above and beyond in caring for the kids in her home. She provides love and comfort for the kids under her care but is also able to to set appropriate limits and help kids learn.
Even though David will soon be moving on to school- Belkis and her family will continue to be a part of our lives."

"When the time arrives where a parent needs to find suitable daycare for their child, you want a home which best reflects the care that only you can give. Well for our family that second home became Belkis. Belkis matched all of our fundamental criteria: a safe home, inviting environment, affectionate care and healthy eating. There are play areas and toys to discover and with a local playground for outdoor adventures. I am so pleased to have found her and welcomed Belkis and her two lovely daughters into our lives.

My two daughters came into her care at an early age, Elise was only 11 months and Naomi was three years old. We still visit to this day. Elise being sensitive, shy and quite attached initially was reluctant to the separation but thank goodness I had Belkis, she gave Elise the time and nurturing love she needed to adjust; now I have a very strong, confident daughter who loves her Tia Belkis as family and looks forward to Tia Belkis day.
The opportunity arises at 3 years when preschool became available for Elise and in our families decision we chose to do part time preschool and part time Belkis combined. School may provide greater social interaction but it could never give the attention and rest home could give. Belkis wouldn’t shut the door if she heard a sniffle, if a child was just a bit under the weather they can visit her and rest, if not well at all then of course stay home with mom. You have no idea how many days of work one can lose when your child isn’t feeling well in a large child care centre, and at times for little reason. Belkis rarely took days off or was unavailable; the door was always open when you need her most.
A friend to us offering parental wisdom and support, an ante to our children we with complete conviction recommend Tia Belkis to your family."

"My son enjoys going to Belkis', he is well taken care of and he enjoys his time in her care. He is treated as family and that's the kind of care I look for and appreciate. Being a bilingual home (English/Spanish) he continues to learn and understand his mother's native tongue. I'm glad I found such wonderful and reliable care, it made returning to work much easier."

"I am very Thankful and Grateful to have found such a wonderful childcare provider as Belkis. My daughter has been with Belkis since she was a wee little one... It is not easy for parents to leave their child and go off to work, Belkis put us at ease. Her kindness,sensitivety to each child, and her strong family values and morals made it more comfortable for us to leave our daughter with her. Our daughter became a part of Belkis' family over the years...her beautiful daughters are like big sisters to our daughter. It's comforting to know that our daughter was in good hands. Thank You Belkis for all that you do!"

"There are so many things to say nurturing, loving, patient, “down to earth”.

Over the years she has helped both my son's through their different phases, encouraged manners and politeness, helped prepare my youngest for kindergarten with crafts, and encourages outdoor play. She has strong family values and I feel that her own children, who are polite and well behaved, are a testament to the effectiveness of these values.

Over the years she has helped me realize that “we are not alone” in whatever “parenting phase” we are entering!!

She was the “perfect” fit for our family….she provided superb childcare and became a friend along the way!"
