Childcare provider: Bettye Hyde Co-Operative Nursery School
I obtained services from this non-profit daycare centre and I find that:
"My daughter is now in her second year at Bettye Hyde, and we plan to enroll my son once he is old enough as well. Since our first contact with the school/daycare, we have been consistently impressed with the calibre of care they provide. The teachers are knowledgeable, patient, and very personally engaged with each child at the School. They maintain discipline in a warm and non-threatening way, and show a real sensitivity to each child's interests, priorities and challenges. They keep open dialogue with parents regarding any developmental or behavioural challenges, and are quick to identify each child's strengths and assets. The facilities are clean, inviting, and engaging. My daughter begged to go back after her first visit, and my son's favourite part of the day is dropping off his big sister at "school" and running off to explore the space with her. The school's co-operative model keeps parents engaged and informed, and has helped us to build a network of other families with kids about the age of ours. Overall, Bettye Hyde has been the ideal place to transition our children away from being at home full-time, and has given them a great, positive start in "school" and social interaction."

Childcare provider: Bettye Hyde Co-Operative Nursery School
I obtained services from this non-profit daycare centre and I find that:
"The staff is fantastically organized, caring, professional, and able to integrate children of all abilities and interests. The facilities are well-resourced and set up to allow for both very active and quiet, creative play, indoors and out. There are plenty of 'enrichment' opportunities for the children in terms of field trips, artist, or other professional visits, cooking, preparing special events, etc. As a parent cooperative, there is also a focus on involving families and the community and in understanding the role child care plays in a healthy community."

Childcare provider: Bettye Hyde Co-Operative Nursery School
I obtained services from this non-profit daycare centre and I find that:
"Bettye Hyde offers what OCDSB extended care programs cannot: a variety of playmates for your kindergaartener, a change of scenery after a long day of school, a childcare environment where parents contribute and make the centre suit their needs, etc.
The teachers at Bettye Hyde are fantastic, dedicated and well loved by the children.
I would recommend that any family looking for childcare in the Sandy Hill area go and visit Bettye Hyde!"

Childcare provider: Bettye Hyde Co-Operative Nursery School
I obtained services from this non-profit daycare centre and I find that:
"My daughter can't wait to get to nursery and then doesn't want to come home when it's time! She loves her time there and even calls her teacher her best friend. As one of the younger aged children I find she is learning so much educational wise just through the playing and interaction she gets whilst at Bettye Hyde."

Childcare provider: Bettye Hyde Co-Operative Nursery School
I obtained services from this non-profit daycare centre and I find that:
"My daughter started at Bettye Hyde as soon as she turned two. We knew right away that this place was special when our usually timid and clingy daughter ran off to play on her first day without even shedding a tear. This school is a gem. The teachers are incredibly experienced and have been at BH for years. They are patient, kind and full of energy. The co-op model of the school allows parents to become involved, while still not requiring an overwhelming commitment.
We started off doing three days a week and then moved to five as soon as a spot opened up. It's been a great place for our daughter to play, explore and make new friends. And knowing that they have a great after-school program, I love the fact that my daughter will be able to continue her experience here for years to come!"

Childcare provider: Bettye Hyde Co-Operative Nursery School
I obtained services from this non-profit daycare centre and I find that:
"My daughter is thrilled to be attending Bettye Hyde this fall after morning SK, just like her big brother did. Their programming is going to hit all of her sweet spots: art, music, science and tons of running around.
My son will be continuing at Clubhouse after his full day at school (Grade 2), where he's looking forward to spending time with his "Bettye Hyde buddies."
Bettye Hyde is an exceptional place: so much more than just a place to just drop off your kids. It's a real community of like-minded teachers and parents, who truly care about each child in their care: body, mind and spirit. (You should hear the funny and sweet send-off tributes the teachers prepare for each child when he or she "graduates" -- wonderful.) The space is vibrant and exciting for little people and the atmosphere is very home-like and welcoming.
I simply can't say enough about Bettye Hyde -- obviously. :)"
