I obtained services from this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:

"Centretown Home Daycare is phenomenal. Akiko provides outstanding care and I am so lucky that my two oldest have been in her care and my youngest will when he’s ready for daycare. Akiko teaches the children independence and empowers them by teaching them how to dress themselves, put their shoes on and tidy up their plates. She provides a wonderful variety of foods for snacks and lunches, sometimes they even help make things like pizza and Udon noodles. Akiko ensures the children get a wonderful variety of outings and activities, and plans really neat crafts and indoor activities as well! We love, love, love our experience with Akiko and feel so lucky to have her as part of our family 💕"

"We have been fortunate enough to have Akiko care for both our children. She is exceptional for so many reasons. Her home is a clean, safe and inviting space. She always puts the children’s needs first. They engage in so many community activities, arts, outdoor and creative play. She builds loving and special relationships with all of the children, treating them as family rather than clients. Akiko feeds the children healthy homemade food, never prepackaged snacks (which was important to us both for our children’s nutrition and the environmental impact). She is very easy to communicate with and send daily emails with photos and news about the kids day. If you have the opportunity to have her care for your children, I would not pass it up, she truly is one of a kind!"
