I met with this daycare centre / preschool and I find that:

"I did a recent tour of this "daycare." It is in the basement of the owner's father. The doors were not locked. There are adequate providers (4 to 1 ratio) and they seemed attentive to the children, and the children seemed happy. However, here a few things I saw that deterred me from sending my daughter here:

Facility was not very clean, crusted food and dirt on furniture, toys, carpet, floors, pretty much anywhere. The kitch was also a mess of dishes and no counter space whatsoever.

The bathroom had a shower that was filled with all kinds of trash, and other odds and ends. There was a half hazardly stocked cart with the children's diapers and wipes and an old, stained changing pad laying on the floor of the bathroom where a woman was changing one child, and I had to practically step around her to get through the hallway.

There are a set of stairs that lead to the main house, the only thing blocking these stairs was a wooden gate, that was not attached to the wall or even tensioned against the wall. A child could have easily gotten passed it.

There were crayon markings all over walls, dirty and torn stuffed animals.

I would not recommend this facility."
