I met with this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:

"February 2nd 2010

To whom it may concern,

I have known Cathy for the past 7 years in the capacity of caregiver.

Cathy likes to use the Early Years Centre at 380. Bagot Street and it has wonderful programming for children under the ages of 6 years old.

This lady has lots of energy with the children in her charge and is constantly overseeing the activities that they participate in.

She is patient, kind and loving and yet keeps the children well disciplined and this results in happy children.

At snack time Cathy always has a variety of nutritious snacks and makes sure the children's hygiene is good around the table.

Cathy is a good driver and enjoys taking the children in her care out of her home for activities.

She is very aware of including all aspects of development in children and enjoys fostering them all: creative, physical, cognitive,social and emotional.

I would be happy for Cathy to take care of a child of mine and would not have any concerns.

"Cathy has become part of our family after taking such great care of our 2 year old boy. Our son always loved to get up in the morning knowing that he would have a great time at Cathys and received much love from her.

Cathy was very flexible with her hours for us working parents. We were very impressed with her quality of care she provided to our son. Our son has learned many new songs, activities and enjoyed his time on thier adventure to playgroup as Cathy routinely brought him to a local place in town. I always knew that our son was well taken care of while I was at work.

I highly recommend this daycare service that Cathy provides. She is amazing with the children and we will definitely be sending our "soon to be" second child in a years time.

If you have any questions or would like a reference letter, I would be more than happy to provide one.

"Cathy has been caring for our 12 month old daughter for only a few weeks now but we are so happy with how she has adjusted. Cathy was very flexible the first week while we introduced our daughter to her and the other children and provided great feedback on her adjustment. Cathy was also very supportive and understanding to us as parents as we left our daughter for the first time. We were very touched when Cathy celebrated our daughter's first birthday after she had only been in her care for four days! We are very confident that our daughter is getting great care and recommend Cathy to other families looking for care."
