I obtained services from this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:

"I was really nervous about sending my son to daycare and was uncertain if it would be the best choice for my family. My fears were instantly put to rest at Sprouts. It really is the next best thing to caring for your child in your own home. My son transitioned easily and he loves the friends he's made at Sprouts.

As a parent, working at the co-op one day a week really gives you insight into what your child experiences on the days you're not there. Because the daycare is composed of other parents who feel as passionately about my son's care as I do, I know that he's being looked after with the same love and care I give all the kids on the days I'm there.

Sprouts is a wonderful community."

I obtained services from this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:

"We spent a year as part of the Sprouts co-op and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It's a lot of work for sure but there are some great things about Sprouts that you just won't find anywhere else. First, it's a nice soft landing after parental leave, for both the child and parents. Not only do you spend a day a week on site with the kids, there is no pressure to drop your child off and leave. It's a community and drop-off is as much about seeing the other parents and kids as it is about settling your child in. I used to take off my shoes and spend ten or fifteen minutes with our daughter and the other kids while chatting with the other parents. The community of parents is great. Chatting with one another really helps normalise all the crazy kid stuff. Most of all it is an amazing thing to spend a day with the kids. Lots of diapers to be changed, okay, but it's really neat to spend time with your kid at daycare, where they spend so much of their time, and to watch them interact and develop socially with the others. Plus where you or one of the other parents is there every day, you'll know exactly what is going on, which is great and unique. If you don’t mind putting in the effort the payoff is fantastic."
