"Shabnum took care of our child for just over 1 year and she was amazing. She would always give us a detailed account of our sons day when we picked him up - like if he ate well, how he napped, how he interacted with the other children, etc. She has less children to look after then a regular daycare, giving her more time to help the kids learn. We found that our sons language improved dramatically with her. She also takes the time to throw birthday parties for all her children and give them a graduation ceremony when they are ready to leave for school. We couldn't have asked for a better daycare experience for our son, and would highly recommend Shabnum to anyone."

"My son was with Shubnum at Growing Minds Home daycare for 1 year. Shubnum made the transition a breeze for both myself and my son. She quickly learned his personality and the things he enjoyed and incorporated these things into daily activities and how she interacted with him. She provides a home away from home; with nutritious meals, activities indoors & outdoors, excursions to playparks/drop-in centre, and love & encouragement. She is excellent at communicating and documenting daily activities through photos. She provides a safe, caring & fun environment for them to grow & learn. I highly recommend her."

"We often say that Shabnum is magic. She has such an amazing effect on the kids in her care. They learn all about having friends, being part of a group, caring for others, taking personal responsibility, and basic skills like sitting at a table and cleaning up! Not to mention all the special activities and occasions that happen at Shabnum’s all the time. Our daughter is so happy every day at Shabnum’s… she has been there for two and a half years and it is her world. We feel so lucky that we met Shabnum. She is such a special person and an amazing caregiver."

"Shabnum inspires confidence in all aspects of running Growing Minds Home Daycare: it’s clear she treats and cares for the kids as if they were her own; she creates an environment that encourages the kids to be themselves and thrive; and she adjusts her style to each child to enable learning at an astonishing rate. Our older son has been in Shabnum’s class for 1.5 years and we attribute a considerable amount of his development to Shabnum’s influence. Our younger son just started in the class and within a couple weeks, we’ve already seen tremendous growth. We’d recommend Growing Minds Home Daycare to anyone."

She is kind, nurturing, attentive, and exceptionally talented in her work caring for and developing our little ones. Our daughter absolutely adores her, as do we. Shabnum is incredibly professional and you can tell just how much passion and joy she puts into and that comes out of her work with our children - it takes a truly special individual to do the tireless work that Shabnum does every day. "Shabnum has provided part time care for my son since September 2017 and I honestly cannot say enough good things about her and the care she provides. She truly cares for the kids as if they are her own and you can tell that she loves all of them. Shabnum sends me pictures throughout the day of my son doing crafts, sensory activities, circle time and outside time which has put my mind at ease from day 1. My son has learned so much from her and loves seeing her smiling face twice a week. She has been such a blessing to my family and I, we love her so much!"

"My son began attending Shabnum's daycare Jan of this year and words cannot express how truly lovely she is. Each morning she greets us with a smile on her face and is extremely professional. Throughout the day she sends me pictures of the daily activities and lets me know how his day is. Shabnum has been extremely accommodating as well and when I see the love my son has for her whether it is at drop off in the morning or pick up in the evening he always greets her with a big hug and kiss. She makes wonderful crafts with the kids, feeds them nutritious meals and my son has learned so many things in these past few months. Sadly we are moving to a daycare closer to my work but I feel so blessed they we have had the privilege to attend her daycare."

"All these reviews written by parents are absolutely true and i agree with all. But i want to mention something differnt about her. She is an amazing human being. She always had smile on her face. Always welcomes the kids and parents with great smile, beautifully dreased and neat and clean look. She always shared different home remedies with me whenever my kids were sick which really helped.

"We are over-the-top thrilled with Growing Minds Home Daycare and Shabnum's enthusiasm and passion for providing quality child care for our son. She engages the children in a variety of activities, games, songs and crafts, and serves excellent and nutritious meals and snacks which my son very much enjoys. She also takes the children on outings to the local drop-in, and ensures the kids get outside for outdoor play as often as the weather allows. My husband and I SO enjoy the emailed photos she sends of our son and his daycare friends having fun. We certainly could not ask for a better, more loving childcare provider for our son. "Growing minds daycare is beyond amazing, and very professional. Our son loves Shabnum and going there every day. She provides a structured system with so much fun, learning and love each day. She excels at meeting the developmental needs of the children in her care and keeping parents informed of the different stages of development of their children. It is always difficult to be away from our children while we are at work but while our daughter was under Shabnum’s care we considered Shabnum an extension of our family.

"My son has been with this day care from 2012. I have been so happy with his development, emotionally and mentally.
