"I sent my child to Jen last year when she ran a day care in Stoney Creek called Mommy Day Care. I really appreciated the care Jen provided my child. Jen provided a variety of health meals and snacks; learning and activity time; crafts and story time. I really liked how everyone, depending on the weather, got to go to a nearby park on a regular basis. I didn’t mind those occasional times when I had to pick up my child from the park because I gave me an excuse to join in and play at the park too; I miss that. Jen was always professional and you could tell she cared at the same time. Her day care always felt homey. The only reason I stopped going to her day care was because we decided to send our child to a day care that recently started offering an infant program literally around the corner from our house. I would recommend Jen in a heartbeat."

"My children attended Mommy Daycare for 5 and 4 years respectively. From the beginning Jen was warm and inviting and my children would run in the door excited for the day to begin. A variety of field trips, a solid curriculum and outdoor play everyday helped them grow and learn. It was a sad day when my kids were old enough to go to school and we no longer required her services. Highly recommended."

"Jen cared for my daughter for almost 2 years (she started just after her first birthday). I knew right away that she was the perfect fit for us. My daughter loved her from the start, and she was always treated with kindness and respect. I never had any doubts that she was in good hands.

"Jen has been our daycare provider for the past five years, my children absolutely love going to daycare and love Jen! I always know my children and in great hands when they are at daycare. There are always fun and educational activities for the children to engage in, lots of arts and crafts, outdoor play, field trip days, healthy home cooked meals and snacks, and an overall enriching and loving environment. It is extremely obvious the Jen loves the children she cares for and recognizes their uniqueness and helps them to reach their full potential! Jen also maintains great communication with parents, which is something I have really appreciated over the years!

"I was so lucky finding this daycare for my 2 children! When searching for daycares in my area when my first daughter was one, I went to 3 other daycares for interviews - not feeling great about leaving my baby with them, I finally found Mommy's Playhouse. As soon as I met Jen (the owner), I knew it was the perfect spot for my little girl!

"Our son started at this daycare at 17 months, and our daughter joined at 5 months. They have both greatly enjoyed their daycare experience over the years and now that they are both in school full-time, they miss their daycare friends and daycare providers! The daycare has provided them with a great learning experience prior to entering school, they have taken may field trips with their daycare class over the years such as African Lion Safari and Green Mountain Farms among others. They have always been busy with crafts and outdoor playtime throughout their days which are packed with activities. Both kids ask to go back to visit daycare on PA days as they do still love it there! We would definitely recommend this daycare to other parents."

"My son has been going to Mommy Daycare for the last year and a half. Jen (the owner) is fantastic and so is her team. I feel they all have the same parenting values as I do. It is not just a daycare but it is a little family. I was very worried about my son going to daycare as he is my first and only child, the thought of someone else watching him made my stomach turn and the more interviews we went to the worse the feeling got... but from the moment my husband and I met Jen we knew she was the one. I love the fact the children play outside so much, but the fun and learning doesn’t stop there, indoor time consists of amazing crafts, games and even sign language. The smiles and stories that come home on my little boy‘s face proves to me we made the right choice with daycare provider!"

"I have recently started using this daycare for my daughter and am fully satisfied with it. The staff is very friendly and co-operative. Daily menu is also balanced. The thing I like most about this daycare is they take children out for play daily (sometime in near by park). So kids get involved in healthy activities and get lots of vitamin D (unlike other day cares where only indoor play in their dens is allowed). The only thing I wanted more is if they have more food options for vegetarians or if they could serve halal food. I would highly recommend this daycare"
