"We are absolutely, 100% happy with our choice to put our son in the care of the staff and teachers at the Sunnyside Footsteps Daycare Centre. They foster a caring environment where children are encouraged to discover the world on their own beat, lovingly guided by their teachers. I am happy to see my little guy smile on the way to daycare and on the way out. The staff and teachers are always available to chat. The Centre has a community-oriented way of doing things that really encourages positive relationships and we truly appreciate being a part of it."

"I can't express enough how happy our family is for finding the Glebe Reggio Centre! After spending month searching and reading reviews online for daycares in the City I was getting worried about finding the best place for my son... I then started reading reviews for the GRC and reading about their teaching philosophy - at that moment I knew I had found the right place it would be a matter of getting a spot. I called the same day and was put in touch with Neil the founder. He 'convinced me'. I have never met someone so passionate about childcare as Neil. He is one of the most wholesome, genuine and compassionate people I have ever met. My son has been here for over a month now and he's learned so much and advanced at a speed I didn't think possible. He loves the teachers there (especially Miss Kate) and is so happy when I drop him off and pick him him. The teachers there truly care about the children, they engage fully - they're on the floor playing with them and interacting. They do sensorial activities everyday (something that I truly value), they spend lots of time outside (their brand new playground is beautiful), the place is clean, full of windows and light, the food is healthy and the place is just very happy. There's plenty of outings for children and parents and exciting events happening all the time. I could go on... My family is very thankful for the GRC and all their amazing staff. My son's happiness every morning makes my day!"

"We are so very happy to have found the Glebe Reggio Centre! Our son's transition to the 'baby centre', began in May, and was so smooth. He looks happy to see his teachers and friends every morning, and calm and cared for when we pick him up after work. In the time we have been there, the teachers have really shown their care for him. We love reading about his day in the log book they keep for us - it makes us feel part of his day. The teacher-child ratio is amazing and the facility itself is perfect - bright, cheerful, homey, with lots of activities. We love the pace our little guy has to his days - outdoor time at the park, fun learning activities, quiet naptime, and good food. We can't recommend the Glebe Reggio Centre enough."

"I can't say enough good things about this preschool. From the very beginning I have been so happy with the service of the management and all the teachers and how they treat the children with such respect and high regard. Quality learning and positive experiences it definitely a priority at sunnyside footsteps and you can see it in the store is the come home from my 3-year old boy and the entertaining narrative that we get to read at the end of each day in his notebook. I have a child with allergies and this has been accommodated very well for the snacks and the lunch; it's clear that allergies are taken seriously at Sunnyside footsteps which is comforting.

"This is a great daycare that I would not hesitate to recommend to any of my friends. My son has been there for one year (started at 11 months) and my husband and I have been nothing short of impressed. First, they handled the intake really well, which I was very nervous about given that my son had not had a lot of contact with extended family prior to attending. However, he adapted to the new environment extremely well, with minimal fuss. Second, they are receptive to any suggestions that you make, and will gladly give you advice if you ask for it, which is very helpful given that we are first time parents. Third, the caregivers are first-rate. They are so loving and patient with the children and really get down on their level and play with them. My sons loves this daycare so much that I honestly have a hard time getting him to leave some days."

"We started with the infant program at 11.5 months old. Our parenting style matches the Reggio philosophy very well and we appreciate that the teachers all show such respect for the children. They provide the children with a very beautiful uncluttered environment, lots of space to move around and lots of outdoor time. The teachers stimulate the children with singing and creative activities, and allow plenty of time for them to explore toys, books and other objects according to their own interests. They support children as they explore their independence and role model patience, compassion and empathy. Everyone at Sunnyside Footsteps/Glebe Reggio Centre is welcoming and accommodating. They are also very capable of including children with allergies."

"We started at Sunnyside Footsteps 2 years ago as nervous parents sending our child to daycare for the first time. Right away, the entire team at Sunnyside Footsteps made us feel confident and reassured leaving our child in their extremely competent, and enthusiastic, hands. Since then, our child has not only been very well cared for, but the school has delivered on their aim to provide children with a wonderful environment to explore and pursue their own independence, imaginations and interests, as well as to learn how to effectively interact with other children and adults. They have consistently achieved an excellent balance between creative free play, structured lessons (circle time, learning letters and numbers), and active play - both inside and out. As a result, we find that our son has always had lots of fun at daycare, but is also going to be very well prepared for the routines of Kindergarten. We have especially loved that everyday we get a written "ask me" report to encourage us to engage our children in talking about their day and everything they have learned. In addition to their excellent daily care of the kids, Sunnyside Footsteps has made a true effort to create a community environment with frequent school potlucks and BBQs, field trips, and the encouragement of parent involvement in the classroom. We are proud to be a part of this strong and continually growing centre and our pleased that our second son will now soon be attending!"

"We have been extremely pleased with the care our daughter has been receiving at the Glebe Reggio Centre! The teachers have come to know our daughter very well in the short time we have been sending her there. We love that she can attend on a part time basis and still feel like such an integral part of a wonderful vibrant community. They place an incredible emphasis on nurturing the children's independent spirits, on creative expression and on active outdoor play. We feel very lucky to have this centre in our neighbourhood!"
