Childcare provider: Tammy

I obtained services from this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:

"I had this provider look after my 18 month old for 3 months. When I first interviewed Tammy she seemed compassionate and well-structured. She provided me with two very thick binders, one full of credentials and the other full activities for the children for everyday of the year. Her home appeared to be very clean and well organized; however, as the week progressed the house became and remained dirty and unkept. The same dirt remained on the floor for weeks at a time and my toddler would continuously come home filthy where the diaper was so full that it would soak through the clothing on a daily basis. Everyday my little one would come back screaming for a bottle or food (from being overly hungry) and over tired from lack of sleep. Everytime my husband would pick up our baby, she was not prepared and would lose my child's items (soother, security blanket etc.) and had to have the other children retrieve them. But what really put us off was having a student come in and dictate to our one year old how the behavior should be in a harsh a negative tone. When I communicated to Tammy about this issue she immediately became defensive and dismissed our concerns then turned around and said we were the problem. Never again will I put my child in a unregistered daycare!!!"
