I obtained services from this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:

"We had decided I would return to work after spending two years off with our daughter. This decision was very difficult for both my husband and I as we were, like other parents, uncertain about leaving our child in the care of another person. This uncertainty was replaced by comfort once we secured a place in Marta's day home. We had moved to the neighborhood and met Marta while out for daily walks and we instantly felt a connection with her and felt that she was the perfect match for us.
She runs an amazing program with a perfect balance of child led exploration and structured learning opportunities. We are very impressed that our daughter also received French lessons daily. Our daughter adores Marta. She has thrived under the care of Marta and has learned many skills.
Marta provides a menu filled with a varitey of home cooked, delicious and healthy foods. Our daughter always eats well and inquires each morning about what she will have today at Marta's house.
Marta has such a caring and loving approach with our daughter and we always feel as though she is in the best care. She sends out a monthly newsletter which include photos of the children engaging in play and learning as well as information of up coming celebrations, goals and events. Marta provides updates each evening when we pick our daughter up and send emails with photos and kind comments of our daughter's day and accomplishments.
We could not be happier with Marta, she is professional, experienced, creative and much more."

"I can't give enough praise about how truly wonderful Marta is as a person and as a care provider. If you want your child to receive the kind of care that is not only fun, but educational and stimulating on every cognitive level and at every developmental milestone, and in a safe and clean home - and by someone who is loving, nurturing and professional, they couldn't be in better hands than at Marta's Mini's. Marta is a gifted and naturally overacheiving daycare provider, she has endless energy and dedication to her business, and she constantly exceeds my expectations."

"Choosing Marta’s Mini’s as our daughters’ day care provider was the absolute best choice we could have made. We are so very pleased with every aspect of the day care that we cannot imagine a better place for our daughter to be spending her days. Marta is an exceptional care giver – you can see how much she cares for the children and how much she loves her work in everything that she does.
Marta’s organization and planning are only out done by her warmth and affection for the children in her care. There are so many great things that happen at Marta’s on a daily basis it is hard to believe she fits in all in. Whether it is structured play time, sensory learning, crafts, circle time or just allowing the kids let loose, there are always wonderful lessons to be learned. And the best part of all of this is that we get to see the results daily with our daughter. She always comes home beaming from ear to ear – usually with a new skill that she cannot wait to show off.
The food at Marta’s is also amazing – our daughter typically asks for at least 2 servings of everything. And we always know exactly what she will be having thanks to Marta posting in advance. The variety of homemade dishes is astonishing – we have never been concerned about our daughter not eating while at Marta’s.
The communication back and forth with Marta is also impeccable! Whether it be through the monthly newsletter, regular emails, pictures, parent posting board or our great chats at the start and end of the day, we always know what is going on in our daughter’s world. It is always so reassuring to hear how well our daughter is doing.
We are so lucky to have Marta in our lives – we never worry when our daughter is in her care. We could not be happier."

"Our 2 year old son has been going to Marta's Minis since September of 2014. From the outset Marta has maintained a wonderful balance between being a professional businessperson and a loving caregiver. She runs a program that is rich with engaging and goal oriented lessons, while still providing the children with ample time for unstructured, imaginative play. Marta has a strong understanding of child development and this shines through in all that she does. Parent communication is wonderful with a correspondence bulletin board, posted meal schedule (healthy/homemade), monthly emails and of course, easygoing one-on-one conversations when picking up and dropping off. We have the piece of mind knowing that our son is being cared for in a loving, clean and stimulating environment. Seeing him give her lots of hugs and cuddles lets us know that we have made the right choice."

"At Marta's Mini's my son is truly getting the best of a loving home daycare and a stimulating learning environment. I am so impressed with the program Marta runs- circle time, craft time, sensory, outdoor play, cognitive, fine motor skills- she covers it all!

While running a professional program Marta also gives our son lots of love and attention. Her meals are excellent (I can't believe he's eating quinoa!!)- always healthy and lots of variety. Her communication with parents is exceptional- I am always well informed about his meals, activties, naps, and on any new skills that might be emerging.

Marta really goes that extra mile and you can tell that she loves what she does. Our son is truly benefitting from being in her care."

"We couldn't be happier with Marta. She brings the best of both worlds. She is a wonderful, caring, loving mom and an extremely professional, organized and intelligent early educator. Our son is so well taken care of and everyday comes home having learned something new! By 18 months he was already counting to 20 in French and English...so much so we are considering keeping him there until SK!!! It is such a relief to have someone so great taking care of our son, we go to work and not have to worry or stress about anything. We highly recommend Marta's Minis!!!"
