I met with this daycare centre / preschool and I find that:

"Our visit to this centre was not encouraging.

The babies in the infant rooms seemed to be tuned out. One (approximately 14 months of age) lay on a pillow staring blankly. It was not naptime. Another reached for me repeatedly as I crouched next to my child on the ground as if she wanted to be held. When she needed to be redirected, one of the ECA's would grab her by her arm and pull her away. It was not rough, but very surprising to see a child be treated like this.

We were told by the ECE that children often cry for the first couple of weeks that they are in daycare while they adjust. To assist them in learning to nap at daycare, children in the infant room are sometimes left to nap in a little rocking seat which seemed like it might have been a possible hazard for positional asphyxia.

Finally, the infant room was quite dirty. We were told to wear our boots in despite them being wet. The floor was dirty and the toy given to our child to play with was crusted with dirt."
