"Shakira and Aseeba’s Daycare was a wonderful experience. Our baby went there from 12 - 24 months. They have delicious snacks and meals, a fun and big space for the kids to play in and amazing planned activities each and everyday. Our baby was always so excited to be dropped off. Even with covid they are taking extra precaution and I felt comfortable dropping off my child. We bought a new home and It was way too far for us :(."

"There are no words adequate enough to describe how wonderful Shakira and Aseeba are. My first daughter started there at 11 months old until she was 3, and my 23 month old baby is currently there and has been since she was 10 months. Shaki's family is like our own. My daughters ADORE them and we are forever grateful for what a positive and loving environment they have created for our family. I have recommended their daycare several times over (many of my neighbors have now sent their own kids!) and I am perpetually grateful that I got the recommendation 4 years ago myself!"

"My daughter started with this daycare at 11 months old and we absolutely love it. They are extremely flexible and accommodating to our needs. They always receive our daughter with a big smile and warm heart. They provide healthy meals, ensure naps are taken according to schedule and constantly take the children out for fun excursions to the park or local drop-in centres. When we pick up our daughter at the end of the day, she always has a big, proud smile. We are truly blessed to have our child in such good care."

"Shakira and Aseeba are absolutely amazing caregivers and will love your child as their own. They provide nutritious homemade meals/snacks, and take the kids on various outings everyday to the nearby drop in centres and parks. They engage the kids in a variety of different activities including art, dance, songs, free play etc. Our son is so excited to go to daycare in the mornings, and is always happy when we pick him up at the end of the day. They love to share stories about his day, and get just as excited as we do, whenever he learns something new or has reached a new milestone (which he is constantly doing in their care). We couldn't be happier with the care and love our son is receiving and can't praise this daycare enough."

"Our daughter was super shy and clingy as a baby and we were worried about having her start daycare. After a long search, we found Shakira and Aseeba about a year ago through a personal referral and they have been amazing. Our daughter loves to go, and we can tell they love her like their own. The day is filled with activities, outings, and cooperative play, and she comes home with stories about how much fun she had. We switched to part-time while I've been on maternity leave, and she actually asked to go on a day she was supposed to stay home! I can't say enough about them, and I feel very lucky to have found them :)"

"Shakira and Aseeba have been wonderful caregivers for our son! They made the transition to full time daycare easy and were very accommodating with his naps. They take the children to parks and drop in centres each day and provide them with a warm and loving environment. "Shakira and Aseeba create a fantastic, engaged and loving environment for our daughter. We couldn't ask for more from a private daycare. They are very active with the children, taking them outside regularly to parks, swimming, drop in centres and their modest home is full of love, activities and appropriate toys. Shakira takes extra care to provide home made, nutritional foods that the kids love. When we drop off our daughter, she reaches out to them and she's so happy at the end of the day. Her eating habits are great and she is great with other kids due to social environment. Highly recommended!

"Shakira and Aseeba will love your child as if he/she were their own. Our son has been in their care since he was 1 year old and we are extremely happy with the care he receives. They make nutritious home cooked meals daily and are very active with the kids, taking them to the local drop ins and parks. Our son loves them very much, and is always excited to go to daycare. What more could you ask for as a parent."

"Shakira loves children. My daughter has been with her for almost four years. Now that she will be attending school in the fall we are sad to not have her as part of our daily routine. I know my daughter loves her very much. She has a hrwat way with children. Shakira is very active with the kids taking them to the local drop ins and parks. There has never been any issues. Happy to connect with anyone who is interested via email."

"Shakira has been watching my son since he was a year old. He is now four and still in her care and will be leaving in September to go to school. Shakira is one of the warmest, most loving people you could hope to care for your child. I knew within a minute of meeting her that I wanted her to look after my son. She took him from my arms and immediately snuggled him and that's what I wanted for my baby. My son adores her and so do the other children in her care. They are all well mannered and kind children and care for one another and I attribute much of that to what she has taught them. The best endorsement I can give is that my five month old will be going to her in January when I return to work following my second maternity leave."

"We have been using Shakira for childcare for 5 years now (split up between 2 children of ours). The first thing that comes to mind when thinking about Shakira is LOVE. She will love your child like it is her own; and for us, that was number one. The energy, care and affection she puts into her childcare is amazing. She is very active with the kids - drop-in centre every morning and outdoor/park time every afternoon after nap. Rain or shine. The kids are not sitting at home. She provides lovely home cooked meals and great expertise with all things child care (if your child is sick, potty training, sleep problems). Shakira is very much a second mother to our children, who love her very much."
