I obtained services from this daycare centre / preschool and I find that:

"The staff at Uptown Montessori School are professional, kind and intuitive. They use gentle and effective teaching methods with their children. As a parent, specifically a first-time parent, I was extremely critical during my preschool screening process to ensure my child was in a safe, secure and nurturing environment. The teachers and Director at Uptown were so accomodating and communicative during the first day transition. They exceeded my expectations! They kept me abreast of how my son acted during the first few hours without me via telephone and even emailed me a picture of him sleeping in the crib. It was the added care that made me extremely grateful to have found them as educators. My son integrated seamlessly into the learning environment and engrossed himself in the multitude of activities and materials offered to him. Additionally, he made friendships immediately upon arrival. I believe his confidence at Uptown is a direct result of the positive infrastructure they provide. It feels very safe, secure and hygienic. The direct sunlight in the room adds to the overall sunny feel -- Open concept area, extremely large airy playrooms and lots of windows for natural light. All great characteristics for a Montessori school!! Very happy parent."
