I obtained services from this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:

"Amanda is great with kids, and has a wonderful home set-up. Her daughter is great (friendly and not shy), and her small dog is great with kids. She provided nutritious snacks and lunches and tons of outdoor time. My son loved her.
Unfortunately, Amanda's policies regarding days off (when her daughter is sick, or she is) did not work with our families lifestyle. If you use her, you will need to ensure you have very good (reliable) back-up care (or be able to take the time off from work). Since we do not have family close by to help when Amanda was off, we found this very difficult. Amanda also terminated our contract without notice (on a Sunday), leaving us without any childcare options for our 16 month old son."
