Childcare provider: Dina

I obtained services from this daycare centre / preschool and I find that:

"I don’t even know where to start and what I can say about our experience with Dina at DMS Montessori Preschool and Daycare that can get across how pleased we are that we choose her care for our sons’ preschool years. Our son Matteo began there at age 2 and immediately took to Dina. He adjusted well to full-time care and we were so blown away by the things he was retaining and bringing home. He knows all the continents and even identifies the likeness in the shapes of random images he encounters in his world (he once pointed out South America in pealing paint in an old church building, and Australia in ripped construction paper). I think it is amazing that before entering kindergarten, he knows all his letters and the letter sounds, his numbers, and all the planets of the solar system among many other lessons and he is excited and enthusiastic about learning. I am thrilled that during his time with Dina he was happy and never complained about being dropped off in the mornings, but she was also able to meet and feed his natural intellectual curiosity. Dina and I have kept continuous open communication about Matteo’s development and his struggles and his achievements. All concerns are met with care and love and we feel very safe leaving our son with her and know she has his best interest at heart."

I obtained services from this daycare centre / preschool and I find that:

"My daughter, April-Jane, who is 2.5, has been with Dina since August of 2017. Finding a quality care provider you can trust wholeheartedly to treat your child as you would and be able to go about your day with no concerns can be quite a trying and emotional task.
When April began with Dina, she was basically non-verbal using basic sign language to communicate her needs. Dina went above and beyond to ensure that she was doing anything possible to help April achieve her full potential as an inquisitive toddler. Dina attended a Speech Therapy Information Session at Grandview Childrens Centre with me where she was eager to learn if there were other ways, over and above what she was already doing, to help not only April-Jane, but any other children who come into her care with speech delays or difficulties. We found that the Montessori approach and what Dina was doing was in line with many of the early language therapy that Grandview provides. With that, we decided not to go forward with extra sessions at Grandview. As of today at a follow up speech appointment, April-Jane's speech is at the same level as that of a 4 year old and she is in the 97th percentile for her age. This would NOT have been possible without Dina's dedication and care for each and every one of the kids in her care.
Just recently Dina created a project for April-Jane to have at home because she loves it so much! Its things like this that let me know that my daughter is in the BEST hands possible! April-Jane's dad and I refer to Dina as the "C****r Court Angel" because she is seriously just that! April-Jane wakes up in the morning saying "Mama, April go Dina,....Dina house so fun" and lists her friends name and is eager to go to school! THAT is how I know every single day my daughter is happy, thriving, and having so much fun.
Their is a very open line of communication with Dina and even that is very hard to find! With monthly newsletters, meal plans, verbal communication, formal progress and report cards, you will never be disappointed. Dina goes above and beyond to work with the parents and ensure that our needs are met as well as her own!
I could not ask for a more caring, thorough, open and honest care provider!
Any child who has the blessing of being cared for by Dina is definitely a lucky little boy or girl!
I am already dreading having to send April-Jane off to kindergarten as no one will ever compare to Dina!!!!"

"Hello,

My son was with Dina for about 6 months before we had to move. Being a mom who has worked with daycare providers for 10 years I can sympathize with how difficult it is to find a really good one. Dina has been nothing less then exceptional! My son adores her. She's organized, listens to my needs as well as my sons, incorporates fun and educational activities every single day and is such a happy person. She was truly made for this! I'm so very sad to have to leave and I wish I could take her daycare with me. Finding a comparison is going to be a trying task :(
If you're looking for a dependable, loving daycare, look no more!"
