I obtained services from this babysitter / nanny and I find that:

"We had been in search of a home day care environment for our second daughter. With our first daugher being cared for by family prior to starting school, the daycare scene was daunting. We had been introduced to Paula through a co-worker who had their little one leaving to start school.

We had set up a first interview with Paula in her home and in the daycare setting. We had brought both our daughters to the interview and they played while we talked. Paula clearly outlined her methods of working with the children, expectations of us and we of her. She was more than happy to provide references and checks. By the end of the interview the girls were sold, and so were we.

Paula has a love and passion for what she does and the children in her care. Every day our daugher went happily to ''LaLa" and has enjoyed 3 years of friendship and memories. Being a kindergarten teacher myself, it was important to me that our daughter be well prepared for kindergarten. Paula runs a fantastic program with the kids including outdoor inquiry play, sensory bins, circle time with stories, music and dancing, lots of painting and crafts, as well as working on the letters of the alphabet, numbers, shapes, colours, etc. Our daughter has started JK this September and was more than prepared to start learning in a structured environment.

Snacks and lunches are always healthy with lots of variety. There is a good balance of play, learning and rest. Paula is very open to discuss issues/concerns or ideas regarding children in her care.

We proudly recommend Paula as a loving, qualified home daycare provider, and consider her a part of our family."

I obtained services from this babysitter / nanny and I find that:

"My eldest son started with Paula's family (more on this later!) in 2008. As a first time mom, I'm sure you can imagine my anxiety about leaving my child to go back to work! Paula alleviated any fears I had...not just by telling me that my son would be fine, but by acknowledging my fears and giving me strategies to make the transition for both my son and myself great.
Paula's family (her two daughters, son and husband) are a huge part of why we love Paula's daycare. Her kids and husband are usually around for some part of the kids' day. There is constant interaction - playing time, hugs, kisses, etc. All the kids have 'name' for each of Paula's family member. It's so sweet...
Our youngest son started in 2011 (obviously!!!). Both kids were there the from approximately a year to age 4.
Paula rarely gave them 'junk' food...we always knew about it if she did when the boys got home because it was a treat...it was always home cooked nutritious food.
Holidays are a celebrated time at Paula's...the kids were always doing cute crafts (get ready parents for some cool gifts!) that the kids were immensely proud of.
Paula prepared them for kindergarten - they knew their letters, numbers, how to properly use scissors, etc. All the things we want our children to know! Other parents were impressed that our youngest knew how to write his name - NEATLY - at Kindergarten night. His teacher assumed he had gone to montessori school. Nope, home daycare.
My husband and I chose home daycare because as teachers we know that they will spend enough time in school throughout their lives. We wanted them to have a nurturing environment for as long as possible. And, if we couldn't be the ones to stay at home with them - then, honestly...Paula was/is the best choice!
If you have any questions about Paula, please don't hesitate to email me."

I obtained services from this babysitter / nanny and I find that:

"Our son was having difficulties at another daycare. Paula graciously took in our son (3 at the time) on an emergency whim, and we had nothing but success from then on. She restored our son's confidence within himself, and his ability to advocate for himself and interact with other children. She genuinely loves the children she not only takes care of, but teaches as well. Our son was prepared for kindergarten: he could write his name, recognized many letters of the alphabet and dressed himself. We highly recommend Paula!!"

I obtained services from this babysitter / nanny and I find that:

"Paula, or ‘Lala’ as the kids lovingly call her, is absolutely incredible! Our daughter started with Lala this past September just before her second birthday. As a first time mom, I was hesitant to leave her with anyone other than family but over the months I truly feel that Lala has become part of our daughters family. We couldn’t ask for someone better or someone who loves our daughter as much as Lala does.

The kids eat the most nutritious meals and snacks, with a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. Our daughter has tried all sorts of food thanks to Paula. All day long the kids play, read, ‘work’, dance, learn and go outside. The kids get a lot of fresh air! She fosters a very loving relationship between the kids.

Paula values our opinions and follows our lead with things happening in our daughter’s life (e.g. potty training). She also offers her knowledge and advice when we need it. We love the photos throughout the day! Just the other day, I commented on a photo with the sunshine pouring into the playroom.

If you’re looking for someone who is going to love your child, you’ve found the right place!"

I obtained services from this babysitter / nanny and I find that:

"Paula is an excellent child care provider. Everything in her advertisement is true. My son has been with Paula for 2 years now and as most first time moms, I was nervous leaving my one year old at a daycare. Paula was very good at putting my worries at ease and making my son feel loved and special right from the beginning. My son loves Paula like he does the rest of his family and what more can you ask for! All the kids play so well together, the home is safe and child friendly, I receive text photos everyday from Paula and the kids eat very healthy meals there. I highly recommend this daycare."
