Childcare provider: Rachel

I obtained services from this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:

"Cannot recommend. In our two months, we have had more cancellations than actual service. Some were for family/medical reasons, but others less excusable, such as having a course come up at the very last minute. Rachel also initially misled us about her first aid certification, which we found out was invalid when we asked to verify it. Further, the site recently failed inspection - reason not disclosed to us.

Our last straw was when, despite taking a sick leave for the last two weeks of August, followed by an upcoming vacation the first two weeks of September, she demanded full payment. She even continues to send daily messages about overdue payment after our obvious and necessary decision to discontinue business with this person.

We have given her the 2 months of payments plus will be forfeiting the deposit, received virtually nothing in return, and yet she's now hounding us for an additional half month. Unreal."
