I obtained services from this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:

"This daycare wants you to pay 40 dollars a day for child care. They say that some months are 800 dollars and some months are 850 dollars because there are extra days. I then asked if she expects me to pay for Canada day even though she is charging me per day and making me pay extra for months with extra days she then tells me yes.

This is totally ridiculous to charge me for a stat holiday ontop of charging me when their are extra days in the month. What seems more fair is to pay a flat fee of 800 per month which covers longer months and shorter month and also cover stat holidays so that their is a balance instead of Me, Me, Me which seems to be the case with this daycare. Everything is tilted into their benefit."
