"After interviewing several providers, we felt that Joy would be the best fit for our, then, 12 month old son. We were right! For almost a year now, Joy has taken exceptional care of our son. She feeds him home made (organic) meals, is able to have him take a nap and keep him on a schedule. She also takes him to the park, out for walks and other places. She teaches him valuable skills through story time and crafts. He has learned social skills by being around the other children who he gets along great with. Her daycare is exceptionally clean and inviting.

"Joy is a wonderful, caring, kind individual who truly loves the children in her care. Our son is always well fed, and he learns so much from Joy. Most importantly, he is HAPPY when he is at Joy's house. I feel so lucky to have our son in Joy's care. She communicates with us throughout the day, which was really crucial in those first few weeks when we were all transitioning. She is always willing to spend time telling me about their day, and in doing so, it is evident how much she loves her time with the kids. She provides a safe, clean, engaging and educational environment that allows for each child to thrive. Joy prepares crafts for the kids and is always willing to take them on an adventure - whether it is the arena, the community centre, the park or her own backyard. Every day when I pick up my son, I am greeted with a mini-parade of sweet smiles from each of the children, and a big smile from Joy as well. This only further proves to me that we made the right choice for our son. We love it at Ms. Joy's house!"

"I am so happy to have found Joy. She is a wonderful person who has a natural ability will young children. My son has been attending her daycare since he was 14 months. She is so patient and caring, she really helped my son and I transition to our new 'working' routine. She got him used to sleeping in his own in a crib, and to take a regular nap during the day. Joy always provides healthy meals and snacks and communicates exactly what and how much he ate that day. She also provides a variety of enriched activities for my son, they paint and do crafts, they sing and read books. She also brings them safely to the library and to the park. Joy is also extremely reliable, she has never unexpectedly closed her daycare. My son is now 22 months old, he loves Joy and his little friends he has met there. He has learned many social skills like sharing and playing in groups. I would highly recommend Joy's Home daycare, she is an asset to the community!"

"Joy's daycare has been home away from home for our three boys. As many first time moms know, it was a tearful journey looking for the perfect place to send our little ones. The moment I met Joy, I knew that we found the right place. Every morning, we are greeted with fragrant aromas of the daily menu. There are even days when the kids bring homemade treats to share with us.

"After meeting Joy we knew that our long search for a daycare was finally over. Joy is not only thoughtful and caring, she is also incredibly organized and professional. You can tell that she has taken a lot of care in making sure her daycare runs smoothly and responsibly. Joy made my transition back to work much easier on both my husband and myself, we have complete trust in her skills as a daycare provider and know that our child is being left in a loving, nurturing environment where she can learn and grow. We were very impressed with how neat and clean joy’s daycare was while still having it remain a friendly and playful atmosphere for the children to enjoy. Joy always keeps the line of communication open, partnering with us as our child moves through different stages of her development. As a health conscious family it was also very important to us to know that our child would be eating healthy, nutritious food throughout the day, Joy has went above and beyond in this aspect, always ensuring that the children in her care are given a variety of healthy options for meal times, with the healthy encouragement continuing over to daycare my toddler is a much less finicky eater over all. We feel extremely lucky to have Joy as our daycare provider and our little girl is in love with her and with the other children in her care. You could not ask for a better, more trusted place to leave your little ones."

"We had recently moved into the area and did not know anyone, I found out about Joy's home daycare through the school. As a mother of two girls aged 4 & 5 I was very nervous about home daycares. I met Joy and her son on two occasions to see the home and get a feeling about her care. She presented herself very professionally and organzied. She answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. I decided to give it a try. After the first few weeks my kids were coming home raving about what they did with Miss Joy and how much fun they had. She always was so carring, provided exception activies/outings and had an amazing attention to detail. She continuously communicated any issues or concerns that were so helpful and I would still be using her today if it wasn't for our need for a permanent live in nanny that could work weekends and evenings. My kids still talk with her when they see her at and around the school. I am still in contact with Joy as well and have never met someone more suited to this profession that Joy. Shes a a natural and anyone would be more than lucky to have her as a care giver to your children. Hands down an awesome lady! I will you all the best and am available for reference anytime."
