Childcare provider: Laura
I obtained services from this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:
"My son is fairly new to Laura’s daycare family. Although he has only been there a couple of months I feel very confident in saying that choosing to leave him in Laura’s care was a great decision. My husband and I felt comfortable with Laura from our very first visit. We could tell from our conversation that she is very experienced with little ones and we were very impressed with the play spaces both inside and outside of her home. She happily accommodates my little guys special dietary requirements and I often want to ask if she has any leftovers to send home with me after hearing what he had for lunch! I also find it very convenient that she feed the kids breakfast when they arrive, one less thing I have to worry about in my busy morning. I love the fact that my son has his own room to sleep in and can nap uninterrupted. We get a full report at the end of the day regarding how my son ate, slept and how his bowels were functioning that day (and it is clear that my sons diaper is changed as needed, not on a schedule!) It is great having the peace of mind that I don’t have to worry about my son during my busy workday. My only issue is that my son isn’t always happy about leaving with me at the end of the day!"

Childcare provider: Laura
I obtained services from this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:
"My son is at Laura's at the moment :) You will not find a better daycare provider for your child anywhere! I should know, I am incredibly picky & have interviewed centers, Montessori schools as well as many home daycare providers & there just isn't a better place for your little one. My son has been going to Laura now for about 1-1/2 years & he is incredibly well rounded, polite, sweet & caring & I really do owe half of the credit to Laura. Like the other post said, she cares so much about the children she watches & is as proud of their accomplishments as we are :) He absolutely loves going to daycare every day & I can go to work knowing that he will be safe, feel secure & will have a day full of fun as well as learning & structure. There are lots of toys, learning activities, play houses, books, the backyard is huge with slides, cars, in the summer the water table comes out - she really goes all out in making sure they have a great time! They go for daily walks & do incredible crafts as well as read books, sing sons & dance - my son is excited every day when I pick him up to tell me all the things they have done. They have fantastic homemade meals & snacks & I love that Laura has animals! It teaches the children to be gentle & to have respect. At the same time, her house is always incredibly clean, she cleans & wipes everything down daily! Laura does not do after school pick ups, which for me was important & hard to find. I didn't want my little guy being woken up in the middle of nap time or have to go out in terrible weather to stand at a school, it also means she never has the extra kids that other home daycare's end up with. Anyone that is really looking for a great place for their child & is taking the time to read these, I really can't say enough on here to tell you how fantastic Laura & her daycare is & how safe, happy & well cared for your child will be."

Childcare provider: Laura
I obtained services from this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:
"My daughter was in Laura's care for nearly two years (ages 1-3), and will be returning with her little brother when my current maternity leave is up.
Laura is a warm, kind and caring person who clearly adores the children in her care. My daughter has grown and developed in so many positive ways in Laura's care, and I think that Laura is almost as proud of her accomplishments as Daddy & I are! The children are taught to treat each other respectfully, and the expressions that my daughter uses are so polite and kind - definitely learned at Laura's house!
Laura's home is child-friendly, safe, well-organized, and super clean! She has a lovely golden retriever and a few cats, but she cleans and vacuums every night and I've never seen an animal hair on my daughter's clothes. There is a fantastic playroom with lots of fun & imaginative toys, and a great fenced backyard with more toys to play with. She reads with the children frequently, and often does neat crafts and other activities with them. The children get outside in the backyard quite a bit, weather permitting, and go for walks every day. Laura feeds the children nutritious breakfasts, lunches, and snacks, and is great at communicating to parents how much of what your child ate, as well as what your child did during the day, and how naptime went.
I interviewed about 15 different providers before meeting Laura, and although most of them were good, I was never comfortable with the idea of leaving my baby. With Laura, I knew right away that my daughter would be in good hands. After two years, I'm still sure that we made the right choice!"
