Childcare provider: Catherine

I obtained services from this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:

"My son has been in Cathy's care for almost 6 months now and I can't say enough good things about Cathy and the care she provides my child. Cathy is very patient, kind, and loving towards our son and to the other children in her daycare. When we are getting ready to go in the morning, we tell our son that it is time to go see Cathy and he runs to the door to put his shoes on. Having alot of outdoor playtime was something that was very important to us as parents, and at Cathy's this is certainly the case. Our son loves to play in the sandboxes, on the slides, and in the toy houses Cathy provides in her backyard, as well during inclement weather there seems to be a never ending rotation of toys in the house. He often drags me in to see something new he's found and loves when I go to pick him up. In the relatively short time our son has been with Cathy, she has taught him to go up and down stairs (always making sure that we, as the parents, are ready for these steps first), how to give visual clues as to what it is he wants (he brings me my shoes now when he wants to go outside) and she is working with him daily on teaching him how to speak. One of my best 'mom' moments so far was the day my 17 month old toddled over to see me clutching a picture he'd 'coloured' for us with Cathy's help. He was so proud of himself, and I was so proud of him. We are looking forward to all the activities planned for various holidays coming up, and general everyday activities."

Childcare provider: Catherine

I obtained services from this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:

"I am extremely happy with Catherine services. In addition to her being very accommodating with my husband and my work schedule, she is very attentive and caring towards my daughter, Avelyn. Not once has my daughter cried because we were dropping her off at daycare.

My daughter has learned a lot since she started with Cathy. Avelyn has learned many new words, such as dog, cat, cow, night-night, etc. Cathy takes the time to teach my daughter about the up-coming holidays. For instance, she taught Avelyn all about Thanksgiving. Avelyn loved making Turkey sounds. Catherine also took the time to find out what Halloween costume my daughter was wearing because she wanted to teach her everything about her costume.

In addition, to my daughter learning a lot from Catherine, she is always getting plenty of outside time. Catherine brings her to the park, goes for walks around the neighbourhood and allows her to have free-play in her front yard.

I was very happy to learn that not only did Catherine provide lunch and snacks, but also breakfast. Due to the fact that we drop Avelyn off early, I found it annoying having to prepare breakfast for my daughter so that our previous daycare provider could feed her in the mornings.

In conclusion, Cathy is an excellent daycare provider. I am completely satisfied with her services and I would definitely recommend her. I am 100% confident in her services."
