Childcare provider: Dee
I obtained services from this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:
"Dee is an exceptional childcare care provider. My 1 1/2 year old daughter just absolutely adore her. She gets very excited to see Dee every day, Unfortually, I will be moving to the Sunshine Coast for a job transfer in May, and will definitely miss her. She has been a big help with my weird hours, she's very flexible and great in communication. We will truly miss her. If you are looking for a loving and outgoing provider, I highly recommend her."

Childcare provider: Dee
I met with this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:
"Good day, I am the one who posted the original review. Just in response to the daycare provider, she's right, I did not meet with her (and I never said I did in my personal explanation). In order to submit a review, Daycare Bear only gives you two choices and you MUST choose one, either "I used your daycare" or "I visited/met this daycare" and you have to click one before you can submit a review. Anyway, just wanted to clear the air. It's funny, with unprofessional daycare providers, every time a parent voices a concern, the provider says they are being harassed and that parents have nothing else to do with their time. Ummm, so parents should pick up a hobby like skiing or snowboarding instead of looking out for the well-being of their children? Hmmm... strange. Anyway, I don't want this to turn into a tit-for-tat. I just wanted to let other parents know to beware. Parents have to look out for each other, because after all, we're not doing it for the money :)"

Childcare provider: Dee
I met with this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:
"This childcare provider seems very unprofessional. I emailed her at both her email addresses (including the one listed on her "official" website) and she never got back to me. I normally wouldn't mind but on her website, she says "Open channels of communication are very important to me and I offer many different ways to communicate any feedback, concerns or issues you may have." So I have a problem with people who misrepresent themselves. I thought maybe she had computer problems and was going to call her, but then I saw her re-posting her ad on Craigslist! I almost think this is some sort of scam. I just want other parents to be aware because her rates seem reasonable ($500 for full-time care). I think this is a classic case of 'you get what you pay for' so if you somehow choose her as a daycare provider, don't expect open communication between you and her (meaning, choose her at your own risk)."

Provider's reply:
"Okay..this definately doesn't make sense when you said you have met with me and my home and I know for a fact you did not since I haven't had an interview with anyone for two months..who's misleading who...guess you have nothing better to do but to make up stories...Nothing wrong with what I charge...I know how rough it is out there for people who make a bit too much for subsidy but not enough to still live on. Wonder how many other daycares you harrass. oh well..I don't need to defend myself to you..just I know who I am and what I'm about and so do the parents..."
