I obtained services from this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:

"Choosing childcare for your baby or toddler is one of the hardest decisions a parent has to face. And it pays to be picky. A good in-home daycare should have a set schedule, safety policies, and a safe physical environment. Unfortunately this home daycare does not offer this at all.

I took my toddler out of this daycare because I feared his safety, and his development. This provider in my opinion looks good on paper and that is it !!

Reference check from former clients is a must if you are considering choosing this daycare provider.

Basic safety was a problem when I used this provider's services, like locking cupboards so there is no access to cleaning products or even adding a safety lock on the front door so no kids can leave the house without her.

Before you choose this provider and to avoid any surprises, make sure her hours of work are actually what the contract indicates. Make sure her vacation days are scheduled in advance this eliminates conflicts when she she decides to give you one day's notice when she wants a day off.

Also make sure to get a list of qualified people that she will be leaving your child along with a reference check as she has a tendancy to go out and run some personal errands during her regular daycare work hours.

I am a believer of going out to the park however an entire half day at the park is not my idea of an educational schedule. After the fun at the park, come back home just in time for a healthy lunch. I'm pretty sure Kraft Dinner and Hot dogs are not on the Canadian Food guide.

After a hectic lunch, off for a nap and most kids/toddlers will sleep from one to 3 hours and sure enough wakes up just in time to get picked up by parents. So where does the crafts, and singing and all the fun filled EDUCATIONAL stuff fit in? It's clearly indicated in her nicely written resumé that those are activities that they do!!! I wonder why I NEVER saw any scribbles on paper from my child, there was no daily updates of anything.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DAYCARE PROVIDER. At the end of the day it's your decision where you feel comfortable bringing your child, I just hope you never have to experience what I experienced."

"We love Nat and the exceptional care she provides to our daughter. She has a great home set up with the best equiptment to provide for the kids! She is easy to talk to and provides great feedback about how our childs day was, which is important when you can't be there with them."
