I obtained services from this daycare centre / preschool and I find that:

"The instructors were extremely uncaring with my young child. We did have some positive experiences with other teachers, but there was A LOT of turnover. I can't even count how many different teachers our child had during our six months there. We left because we didn't feel as though our child was being cared for by supportive, experienced instructors."

I obtained services from this daycare centre / preschool and I find that:

"I was very disappointed withe our experience here. The class ratios are the minimum standard and it seems like there really isn't much of a difference between what they offer and any other daycare ...but they do charge nearly twice as much. The program is highly structured and rigid, the teachers seem tired and overworked ( lots of turnover) and the administration seems to care about cramming more kids into the classes. I also on't think that they teach any "fine arts" despite their name. There were no drama, dance/movement lessons; but there was the standard finger painting and paper mâché. I would save $600 o $700 a month and send your child to a VSOCC or other pay based program where kids can be kids and learn he develop themselves orally."

I obtained services from this daycare centre / preschool and I find that:

"I too was frustrated with the opening of the CEFA Vancouver as information from the school did seem limited. However, the school is now open and I am so pleased that I waited and now my son is having a fantastic time at the school. The amount of activities they do in a day is great, they are at the local parks and beach and the art and craft activities are plentiful. Of course this is down to the teachers who are awesome and very caring. I couldn't be more pleased with the school and I'm sure as time goes on it will only get better."

I obtained services from this daycare centre / preschool and I find that:

"Hi there, I'm the owner of the Richmond location and your posting was under my location. I believe you are referring to our Vancouver location which is a separate owner. Nonetheless, as parent of two young children I empathize with you and can understand your frustration. Often times, especially this year with so many other projects going on, we are at the mercy of the construction crew and the City. Opening a childcare facility is extremely complicated because of all the rules and regulations regarding children. There are many departments within the City that need to sign off before next steps are taken. This is done in order for full compliance but this takes time. I was told it would take 4 weeks for my building permit but it ended up being delayed until the 10th week! It is frustrating because we have a commitment to our families and try to be as open and honest about timelines as possible. I hope that you find what you are seeking and best of luck to you!"

I met with this daycare centre / preschool and I find that:

"This facility has been a huge disappointment for many vancouver families as we have been waiting patiently for months, over a year now. They have been very misleading in their dates and have really let parents down. I have received emails stating the school will open, only to receive another one saying it won't open. Parents should be compensated for their time and money. The time frame has been ridiculous and they don't alawys return calls, as they don't seem to want to answer to families. I have visited the other locations, and you really don't get what you pay for. It's a very over-rated school. The one positive thing I have noticed are the teachers who appear to be very friendly and caring."
