"Marcie is absolutely amazing! My daughter went there from 15 months to 3 years old and honestly was so loved and cared for while she was there. Marcie always was kind and gentle with my daughter and connected with her immediately. Marcie always went above and beyond to make each day different for the kids with learning activities, tons of crafts and creative time along with time outside playing. My daughter definitely came out of Marcie’s with greater numeracy and communication skills advanced for her age as well since there was a range of ages in Marcie’s care. I always felt heard as a parent and knew with confidence that my daughter was safe and loved every day she was dropped off. Thank you Marcie!"

"We LOVE Marcie! She is so kind and calm. My daughter has been coming to Love & Learn Daycare for almost 2 years. The space is bright and large. Marcie knows the kids so well, and understands all their different needs. My daughter LOVED the food that Marcie makes for the kids. As well as all the outdoor time. The space is set up for kids to be excited and engaged. We think the world of Marcie and if you're able to get a spot in her child care consider yourself lucky. We sure did."

"Marcie's daycare was like a second home to our kids. We always felt the kids were well-cared for and treated with love and respect. A large backyard allows for a nice mix of inside and outdoor time. Marcie is creative and thoughtful when it comes to activities and crafts and the activities helped prepare my kids for moving into kindergarten. Marcie provides a safe and warm environment and our whole family will always have great memories of our time with her!"

"We looked into several different home daycares around our area during an emotional time where I had to go back to work. I have some background in childcare and expected a certain level of professionalism from the daycares. Many homes were nice but I felt like the spaces wasn’t always suitable for children to run around, play in safely and toys were everywhere (not organized properly). Marcie’s daycare definitely stood out from all of them. Her play area was labelled and very well organized. She had artwork of the children posted up. She had a schedule which I believe is very important for children to learn routine. She had an area for drop off and cubbies for each child. She had toys but also sensory activities, costumes for imaginary play and a good sized backyard for outdoor play. As I entered back into the workforce everything was very emotional as I did not want to miss a moment of my daughter’s developmental milestones. However, Marcie would send many pictures along with progress reports through text or whatsapp. On top of that, she would have what my daughter would call a “report card” telling us what she ate, when she slept, what she enjoyed doing for that day even down to when she had her diaper changed. I felt very at ease with the transition and gained a lot of trust in Marcie as a competent caregiver. When family issues arose and my mother in law was no longer able to care for my daughter three days a week, Marcie was very flexible and was able to switch things around the schedule to accommodate the extra days I needed even though she was at full capacity.

"I have used Marcie's daycare for almost 3 years for both of my daughters, now 5 and 3 years old. Marcie is such a caring and compassionate person, she is patient and kind with the kids, and they both love her. The daycare is always clean and well organized, with lots of toys and educational materials. The kids had a fun schedule including outdoor time and trips to the park/splash pad. Meals were very healthy with lots of variety. The girls always came home with crafts and art projects and learned alot during there time, especially letters, numbers, colours, shapes, etc..

"We started with Marcie when our daughter was just over 1 year old. Marcie was great with facilitation of the transition and was attentive to our daughters individual needs. Marcie continues to be caring and trustworthy. We love the daily reports that describes our daughters progress. She has learned so much! Marcie provides nutritious foods and caters to our picky little eater! The daycare space is clean, bright, and open."

"Marcie is an exceptional daycare provider. Our son has been with her for 2.5 years and he has loved every minute of her care. She is incredibly organized, planning weekly educational themes which activities are based upon. She also adheres to a daily schedule which provides consistency for the kids. The first time I visited the daycare, I was impressed how organized and clean it was. She has put a lot of care into the space. The meals provided are well rounded and nutritious- she even gets our son to eat things he won't eat home!
