+4 Childcare provider: Adisa

I obtained services from this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:

"Great Family Home environment with a large fenced yard for the children to play in. My child is always talking about the fun he has there and is excited to go back each morning."

+4 Childcare provider: Adisa

I met with this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:

"As a healthcare professional I am pleasantly suprised that daycares like this exist in our community. The "homey" feel of this facility makes one feel like their child is being cared for at a loved one's house rather than an institution. There are various postings around the rooms that provide accurate and up to date health, nutrition and safe kids information. Also walking through this family daycare one really gets a feeling that children are at utmost priority and importance. The rooms are child safe and friendly and evidence of each child's unique qualities can be found throughout. I would recommend this daycare to my clients when querying about safe, appropriate, friendly daycare."

+1 Childcare provider: Adisa

I obtained services from this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:

"My main grievance and concern with Adisa is her dishonesty and breach of trust to our daycare agreement. We had a signed contract that she not only once but twice broke the agreement too. Within a 1 month period she increased are part-time rates twice from $280 to $350 and finally to $750 for two days per week. Initially she gave us two months written notice but it clearly stated 3 months would be given. One month later once we returned from Christmas break she informed us that she would be increasing our rates again and that they would be effective within less than 2 months. Obviously this is an outrageous rate increase and her purpose was so she could increase her rates to $850 for full-time childcare. Her current posted rates are incorrect and she does not accept part-time. Basically by raising her rates she forced us out and then would not return our deposit. I am also pregnant and due in late May. I gave her well in advance notice that we would be leaving at the end of June so by doing so she decided that she didn’t want to bother with part-time care. She is unethical in her business practices and this perhaps stems from being only in her mid-twenties. For only being in business since September 2007 she has proven to be ruthless in her treatment of families needing daycare (she did this to the other part-time child whose family could not afford the increased rates). Daycare is a partnership built on trust and she has undermined this essential necessity. Her space is very small and she is expensive at $850 per month. She also did not inform us that she had 2 international male students staying with her which was also a concern."

+1 Childcare provider: Adisa

I obtained services from this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:

"I have given this chilcare provider a +1 rating because she did not follow her contract and has very little business ethics for the resons I have listed below. As far as caring for my child I would give her an adequate to good rating.

- two rate increases for part-time within a month of each other from $280 to $350 to $750 for 2 days per week.

- rate increase should have been effective after 3 months written notice as per signed contract but she only gave 2 months and in the second increase less than 2 months notice was given.

- decided she didn't want part-time children so raised rates to full-time to push her part-time clients out again even though there was a signed contract.

- not following her contract and therefore has little care or concern for parent and child.

- her posting is not accurate does NOT accept part-time and has now raised her rates once again to $850 for full-time and so her pricing is incorrect.

- can be defensive and this is most likely due to lack of experience and language barrier.

- refused to return deposit even though she had left us in a position to look for other daycare arrangements because she wanted to charge us full-time rates.

- I wouldn't say that her facility is worth the high price tag of $850 and have found another facility that is far superior and that has been in business a lot longer with great references."
