Childcare provider: Mary Allan

I met with this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:

"Mary was the daycare provider for my 2 children in total for 5 years up to about 10 years ago. My kids still greet her warmly with a hug whenever they see her because of the positive experience of being in her home.

She is a phenomenal caregiver who took an extended break in order to provide care and support for a critically ill member of her family. She has now returned to providing daycare to young children.

Take a visit to her home and you’ll see that she has filled it once again with toys that any child would dream of having in their home. She truly enjoys seeing the joy in children’s faces of playing and learning. She thinks of that first rather than whether it’s a good business investment to have that many high quality toys and play structures. I also recommend that you call her references before making a decision because that’s what swayed me to putting my young kids in her care. From my perspective, she’s shy and doesn’t always come across warmly to adults. It’s the kids that she’s amazing with, not necessarily the adults."

"Wonderful! Having 3 children, I've had plenty of experience with daycare providers. Mary truly takes the cake! I currently have both my youngest in her care (daughter 2 yrs. & son 1 yr.). She is always coming up with fun activities that encourage all aspects of their development. She is always very sensitive to their needs and our (mine and my husbands) wishes. She keeps us informed of daily activities and behaviours and frequently sends pictures of my children at play. Most of all, my children love her and can't wait to see her everyday."
