Childcare provider: Shirleymet with this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:
"I met Shirley while visiting my relatives....my sister was just starting back to work so I had the honour of meeting Shirley as my niece and nephew were just starting with her. Shirley was very warm, welcoming and loving to my niece and nephew from the first moment. Her love for her work and the children she cares for was very evident. My niece and nephew were quick to warm up to her, and it was clear they sensed her love and care. My nephew told us when we picked him up he had fun and "Shirley is oh so nice" , my niece who was not yet talking had smiles for Shirley. I have worked in the childcare scene for 8 years and seen my share of good and not so good workers...Shirley is upon the top of my list. Her home is welcoming as is her heart. My niece and nephew love going to Shirley's house..she is very involved with the children from outdoor time to fun creative indoor actives, arts and crafts, story time, circle time with songs, playtime, the list goes on.. she truly do love what she does. I highly recommend her!!! Thanks for being such an important role in my niece and nephews life :) you provide quality care at its finest!!!"

"I would highly recommend Shirley to any parent looking for child care with an energetic, organized care-taker. Shirley's location is in a nice neighborhood and the set-up of her facilities is colorful, engaging and safe. Though we just met her, we felt very comfortable with her- she's friendly, organized and professional. She is honest and comfortable discussing finances, vacations, sick days, which we appreciated- we know this is her business & livelihood teamed along with our emotional ties to the children. Shirley is great and if she has an opening, you should schedule a visit. I think the absence of reviews on daycarebear.ca tells much about providers, which is why I wanted to share my thoughts about Shirley."

"Shirley cared for my daughter for 2 years and it was a wonderful experience! We came from another home daycare situation that was very disappointing. However, Shirley's Home felt welcoming and nurturing from the first time we came through the door. My daughter loved every aspect of her day including the educational components, the crafts, the water table, the costumes and especially the vegetable garden they planted! My daughter thrived with Shirley's kind and patient demeanour and blossomed in the extremely loving environment that she provides. I would recommend, and have recommended, Shirley's Home daycare to many of my friends. We love her!"

"I have had my son in Shirley's care for the last 2 years and I am so sad that it is coming to an end as my son is entering school this year. I enrolled my son in Shirley's care after having a horrible experience with a previous home child care. My son has thrived in Shirley's care. He has never complained to have to go to her home. He has learned so much being in her care. She is sweet and loving to the children. She provides a warm and caring environment and the children have so much fun with her daily programming. Thank you Shirley for being such an amazing person in my son's life. We love you and appreciate everything you do."
