"Quand nous avons rencontré Lise pour la première fois, il y a plus que 3 ans passés, mon mari et moi étions nouveaux parents d’une petite fille d’onze mois. Nous étions à la recherche d’une gardienne qui prenderait soin de notre fille comme sa propre fille et nous n’avons pas été déçu.

Lise démontre un dévouement incroyable envers notre fille incluant les autres enfants sous sa garde. Ce dévouement est non seulement démontré envers les enfants mais les parents aussi, Lise nous a tenue au courant de tous les détails journaliers. Nous savons tous qu’élever des enfants n’est pas tâche facile et Lise, avec ses années d’expériences, nous a donné conseil et encouragement, quelque chose que nous apprécions énormément. À la Garderie Pomme d’Api, les journées sont remplie d’activités, d’enseignement et de plaisir; le respect, la propreté et la courtoisie sont des habitudes vites apprises et maintenues. Grâce à l'approche éducative de Lise, notre fille est plus que prête pour l'école.

Bref, chaque matins, notre fille est excitée d’aller chez Tante Lise et rien d’autre est plus satisfaisant pour moi et mon mari. Je recommande donc très fortement de choisir la Garderie Pomme d’Api pour votre enfant, vous ne serez pas décu."

I obtained services from this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:

"Our daughter started daycare when she was 18 months, she is now 4 years old and completely ready for school thanks to Lise. We’ve had an incredible experience. The beginning transition to daycare went very smoothly with the patience, consistency and nurturing personality from Lise. She had great suggestions for the new parents and also was open-minded to work with our beliefs. We knew that our daughter felt completely safe and secure in Lise’s home, which made our life worry-free.
The environment is great! The mood is calming, Lise is very active and structured, she goes out to playgroups, parks, museums, special activities, a lot of outside play (all seasons) in her big back yard, with a great sand box, play structures, wagon rides, the trees and flowers, small chipmunk and birds etc.
There are great toys and activities for the kids to be around. We are still impressed with her organization, sense of humour, passion for learning and positive attitude. The kids not only play, they also learn (manners, sharing, how to use their imagination, the alphabet, counting, colours, objects, animals, have craft time, colour, dance... etc).
Her home is always clean and kept child proof. Her home is always open to the family. No hidden secrets here!

We have seen our daughter grow and learn so much throughout these 3.5 years....she is brilliant! Unfortunately, we can’t take all the credit, most of it is due to the environment she’s in! Lise is AMAZING!
When conflicts did arise, she always remained calm, and helped the children work through their differences, teaching them how to work, play, and problem solve together. The daily communication book is a great way to keep the communication open and consistency at home and at daycare.
What I respected most about Lise’s child care is how selective she is about the families she cares for. She understands that with every child that enters her childcare comes the family values and beliefs that they are learning at home. Because our daughter was spending a great deal of her day with these children, it was very important to us that she was interacting with children and adults who would expose her to what we felt were appropriate and respectful behaviours. Lise selection process ensured just that.
We feel lucky every day of the experience our daughter had with her! Lise has a gift that not many have and it’s the gift of Love, Patience and Consistency in making the children she watches the best they can be! We LOVE Lise!!"

"Mon fils est chez Lise depuis avril 2013. J'ai toujours eu confiance en elle depuis notre première rencontre. Je pars travailler et je sais que mon fils est entre bonnes mains.

Lise fait beaucoup d'activités extérieurs avec les enfants; soit à des groupes de jeux, des musées, des parcs extérieurs, etc., ce que j'apprécie beaucoup puisque mon fils est exposé à plusieurs type d'activité et cela lui permet d'apprendre plein de chose. Lise est très active avec eux, toujours entrain de jouer et de faire des activités.

Lise fournit aussi des collations et diners santés, que j'apprécie beaucoup. Je ne suis pas inquiète que mon fils va bien manger et je sais qu'il mange de bonnes choses pour son développement.

Lise encourage aussi beaucoup le bon comportement, et nous donne aussi des conseils comme parent pour continuer le bon fonctionnement à la maison.

Et bien sur, Lise est très attentionnée et aime les enfants. Elle en prend bien soin comme si ça serait les siens. La communication est très importante, et le journal quotidien que Lise écrit me donne toute l'information à propos du déroulement de la journée.

Sans hésitation, je recommande Lise comme gardienne!"

"Lise Soulière was our daycare provider from September 2011 – February 2013. Prior to signing with Lise we interviewed numerous daycares in the Rockland / Cumberland area. For many reasons which I will briefly outline, Lise was by far the best.

To begin, Lise fed our daughter healthy food choices for lunch and snack time. From the entire time we were with Lise, she only took one sick day, making her highly dependable for parents with demanding work schedules. We were astonished at the amount of activities Lise did with the kids; such as play groups, library events, petting zoo, museums, amongst many others. It seemed like every day something fun planned. There are also many creative activities to do at her home. Her house has a large backyard that our daughter got to enjoy while in Lise’s care. One thing that stood out for us was the journal that Lise would write in every day that would outline what happened that day and any other pertinent information she needed to get across to parents (behaviour, developmental milestones, etc).

Finally, and most important, Lise is an extremely loving and caring individual. We not only see this when she is around the kids, but also in the excitement we see in our daughter. Our daughter looks forward to going to Lise’s every day, and that has made our lives as parents much easier when we see that enthusiasm in our child. Our daughter is happy in Lise’s care, and her reference is even better than ours."

"Lise has been our daycare provider since Apr 2012. Having to go back to work after being with my son 24/7 for a year was extremely difficult for me. Upon meeting with Lise, we knew right away that she was the best person to care for him. Because it was his first time away from mom and dad, Lise suggested we integrated him into care over the course of 2 weeks. She made the transition far more pleasant than we could have ever wished for. We felt at ease knowing that he was going to be in a nurturing loving environment, a "home away from home". My son just adores her and we cannot emphasize enough on how grateful we are to have found her. Tante Lise is without a doubt part of our family now :)

The environment at Lise’s is very clean, positive and loving. My son learns immensely while in her care. She is very active with the children and encourages a balance in play activities.
These are only some of the activities they do while in her care: they go to playgroups, they have story time at the library, they go to different parks, they go for walks and they do special outings during the year. My son has a blast while in her care and he comes home a very happy child, what more can we ask for?!
She has great knowledge of child development and many years of experience with children. Lise has provided us with great resources and tips along the way. She maintains good communication and always makes us feel at ease. She writes in a journal which describes their daily activities, snack/lunches and wether they had a good or not so good day as well as any new behaviors or funny little things they do throughout the day :)

Lise is a caring loving person with great family values and we highly recommend her! "

"Lise is more than a daycare provider; she is an educator to young children. She has a vast knowledge of child development and she obviously teaches children through play.

My son loves Lise and comes home a happy child at night.

Lise is a loving, hard working and reliable person. They say it takes a village to raise a child, well for us, Lise is a big part of our village."
