I obtained services from this family / home daycare, dayhome and I find that:

"I have been using Heather's daycare since 2012 and have had two children cared for by Heather with another one due to enroll late 2017.

She was recommended to us by colleagues who had used her services for several years with their children and had nothing but the best to say about her.

We have NEVER once regretted leaving our children in her care! She has been absolutely amazing both in taking care of our children and in allowing them to grow. When my son started back in 2012 at the ripe old age of 11 months he was very shy and she gently guided him out of that stage. She is also able to manage my headstrong daughter perfectly (she enrolled at 9 months).

I leave my children with her at 7 and pick them up at 5 and never do I wonder how they are doing and it is very obvious that the children adore her. Both of the kids would cry when it was time to leave and would run in happily without saying Bye upon arrival. If she senses that anything is off with the children she will notify you immediately (ie if the child is quieter than usual, or if they are not eating or if they are warm etc) and it is never without reason.

They do a lot of fun crafts and learn songs and she prepares them well for J/K. My son knew all the ABCs before he was 2 and could count to 20 before 3. By the time he went to J/K he could also write his name and recognize letters and numbers. Every holiday they have ongoing traditions so by the time the children have been through for 4-5 years you can track their growth and development and have beautiful momentoes.

In the four years my kids have been with her, we have seen her demonstrate reason and common sense regularly. While other daycares on her street let children play outside at -30 and +40 she uses common sense and keeps them in a warm/air conditioned environment. I have never had to worry about them catching a cold or heat stroke while in her care.
