Strathcona Tender Loving Daycare is an accredited centre.We are currently accepting children from 0 month to 6 years of age full time and part time.

We believe that children thrive when they are provided with nutritious foods, adequate rest and opportunities to play both indoors and outdoors in a safe stimulating environment supported by warm, nurturing and knowledgeable caregivers. Our program is designed to provide each individual child with opportunities to grow to their full potential.
We believe the child's family plays the most significant and influential role in the child's life, therefore we strive to develop a partnership and mutually supportive relationship with each family to promote positive outcomes for children. We have an open door policy for families and encourage parents to become involved within the centre to facilitate their children’s growth and development.
This Daycare is over 6500 square feet air conditioned facility. It is easily accessible for the parents working downtown or the University of Alberta. We have a 2 separate fully fenced yards (separating babies and young toddlers from pre-schoolers and pre kinder)with age appropriate outdoor play equipment and a variety of toys.
It is a clean facility with high quality furniture, equipment and toys designed for the best possible care of your children. We serve wholesome nutritious lunch, breakfast and afternoon snacks following Canada Food Guide. Our food is prepared onsite by our Cook using fresh ingredients with no added preservatives. We strongly believe in NO junk food policy.
Our teachers are well trained and highly qualified.
We do music enriched program by a certified music teacher and yoga once a week for all ages.
We also have story time every week through out summer by the Edmonton Public Library.
The centre is licensed by Child and Family Services Alberta and subsidy is available for families that qualify.
