Since founded in 2009, Fernwood Academy has been a place where children have grown intellectually, socially, and emotionally. With a background in education, we have created a comprehensive preschool curriculum and engaging learning environment where individual strengths and interests are encouraged and each students sense of self, confidence and independence develops. We follow a combination of Montessori and traditional teaching methods which have proven to provide children with a strong early learning foundation. Our approach to learning covers all areas of cognitive and social development including language arts, math, geography, music, science, movement, social/environmental responsibility and practical life skills.
At Fernwood Academy, our holistic methodologies provide children with a wonderful sense of belonging. This allows students to achieve their greatest potential and to be inspired when learning about the world around them!
