The Centre operates a year round programme, Monday to Friday. It is licensed to accommodate 25 children and in keeping with the Montessori philosophy has a mixed age grouping between 2½ and 6 years old (Kindergarten is included). The school is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
In addition to a complete Montessori classroom. located on the upper floor, a fully equipped kitchen, nap room, play area, Arts and Crafts center, library and cloakroom occupy the lower floor of this fully renovated children's house.
A traditional (AMI) Montessori programme (3½ hours)is offered in the morning for all children with an additional 2 hours for Kindergarten age children.
We follow Maria Montessori's philosophy and method by providing pour students with a supportive learning environment where developmentally appropriate materials and positive experiences contribute to the growth of self-motivated and independent learners.
Admission conditions
To start our programme the children must be between 2½ and 3 years and be fully toilet independent.
