Serving the community since 1974, The Middleton and District Day Care Centre offers 100% professionally trained staff who are dedicated to providing quality care your child. We offer a warm, friendly and inviting environment while encouraging each child to develop both intellectually and emotionally at their own pace, keeping in mind that each child is unique and has individual needs. We encourage social skills, stressing appropriate behavior and encouraging self-help skills.
Our days are scheduled around a weekly theme, our activities include creative art, language arts, music, listening skills, science, math, cognitive skills and creative movements. School readiness activities are applied to older children.
We provide a snack which consists of two food-groups in the morning, a nutritionally balanced cooked meal, and a three food-group snack in the afternoon. We have 7 staff plus a cook, and all staff are food-handling trained.
