Hami’s Playhouse is a Well-established Infant&Toddler childcare centre with a Licensed Early Childhood Care and Education and Infant &Toddler caregiver; provides a fun, exciting and comfortable home environment, where children can play, create and learn in a safe loving environment.
At Hami's Playhouse , children are valued and respected as individuals with unique needs. They are offered reasonable choices thus encouraging their independence and developing a sense of self.Hami's Playhouse's Curriculum is play-based. We value the fundamental significance of children’s play to their physical, emotional, cognitive, language and social development.
We offer safe and appropriate play experiences that are established from children’s everyday wonders and interests. Children are divided into small groups throughout the day, ensuring that each child gets the sufficient attention to meet his or her needs.
Imagine a place where children are able to be themselves and are nourished through exploring trees, bugs, plant life and the natural world that surrounds them.
"To live alone and free like a tree, and in the brotherhood of the forest."- Nazim Hikmah

At Hami’s Playhouse, we provide care for children who are 0-3 years of age. Hami's Playhouse Infant & Toddler believes each child is a unique individual with their own personality, preparedness, potential, curiosity, and interest. We strive to accommodate every child through a variety of activities in a multitude of ways. We support each child’s individuality and we understand and respect children’s diversity.
Children will be encouraged and supported at their own level through developmentally appropriate activities that encourage emotional, social, intellectual, creative and physical development. Children will feel accepted and appreciated with safe opportunities to interact, communicate and respect one another.
We use Reggio Emilia Approach. This approach fosters children’s intellectual development through representation. Children are encouraged to explore their environment and express themselves through their many natural symbolic languages; written and spoken words, drawing, painting, sculptures in clay and other materials, block constructions, drama, movement, dance, music, and more.
We trust and respect children’s sense of ownership, autonomy and control of their own learning and play. We accommodate each infant’s schedule while still having them be a part of the group. |
