My name is Candice and I operate Little Fawn Childcare.
I graduated with honors from George Brown College in 2004 from the Early Childhood program and worked for a number of years for the George Brown day cares in the downtown Toronto area.
Little Fawn is a home based childcare setting that is constantly changing and growing based on the needs of the attending children.
Choosing the perfect childcare for your family can be a difficult process. Parents have many options available to them but finding a “good fit” is key.
Here at Little Fawn, the children are the leaders in their own learning. By carefully observing the attending children I can create a program that facilitates the individual and the group’s growing interests and needs.
I can offer your child an educational, friendly, and stimulating atmosphere where they are encouraged to be themselves, learn, and play, and to explore their senses, abilities, and the world around them.
Little Fawn’s programming is not rigid. I keep my program plan simple, light, and my schedule flexible while maintaining routines and consistency. I believe young children generally learn best through play, so I am more focused on “teachable moments”.
I believe every child is important, and they deserve nothing but the best.
