I am the mother of two awesome kids (a 4 year old and a one year old) who love to play with others in our home. We have a large open area and playground in our complex and a our living room/dining room is 100% kid friendly. it's just like being at home when they come to play! I provide 2 healthy snacks and lunch. We enjoy daily outdoor play, walks around the neighbourhood and to the library, art activities, sensory, baking, building, circle time where the children learn through songs, stories and discussions, free play where the children learn many skills and so much more.
I graduated from Conestoga College in 2004 with my ECE and have worked in child care since. I have run my home daycare for almost 4 years. I have experience with children age 1-12yrs in a daycare setting and newborn to 4yrs old at my home daycare. I have taken many workshops on child development and emergent curriculum as well. I love watching children grow and helping them develop new skills. I am laid back and like to plan around the children's interests.
