Grins N Giggles Childcare in Port Mcnicoll is one block from the Port McNicoll elementary school! This in home child care service is set in a smoke free environment providing fun, educational and quality care for your child(ren) as they grow and learn. Our main priorities are health and safety next to learning. We will follow a structured yet flexible schedual including fun with numbers, letters, storytime, music and free play, both indoor and outdoor (weather permitting). Nutritious snacks and meals will be provided in accordance to Canada's Food Guide. Weekly meal plans will be created so you are aware of what they are eating in order to plan your meals as well. We will also have an information board to keep parents updated with info like upcoming events/activities (such as special holidays/birthdays).
Full time and part time spaces are available. Offering care for children ages 6 months and up. Before and after school care as well as summer care for school aged children available.Hours of operation will be: 6am-6pm, Monday thru Friday. Rates of $28/day for full time (5 days) and $30/day for part time (4 days or less).

Bringing your child(ren) into someone else's home for daycare, can be a very frightening experience at first. Understanding this, I feel strongly about open communication. This is important not only for me to care as best as possible for your child, but also to build an open, honest and trustworthy relationship between your family and mine. I welcome surprise visits at anytime if you wish.
I am First Aid and CPR certified (level C-infant, child and adult). I also have a Vulnerable Persons Backround Check.
I am a fun, loving and energetic dad. I have a five year old daughter and a seven month old son. I have been a stay at home dad for six months now and very much enjoy being home with my children. My spouse is an RPN and will be present through out the day on her days off, as well as for the most part of the day when she works evenings. After meeting, an information package will be given for parents to read through/reference as well as all required forms to be completed, should you decide to join Grins N Giggles Childcare (ex. Child Biography, Emergency Contact list etc.).
Receipts will be issued for income tax purposes.
Preference to parents supplying diapers, wipes, formula and bottles if needed. |
