Nestled on two beautiful wooded acres, Kountry Kids is a home based day care in a newly constructed home that has been customized for an optimal day care layout.
We are located on Mill Ridge Road in McNab/Braeside, on the outskirts of Arnprior, and one road over from McNab Public School. We are 2 minutes off of Hwy 17, with direct access back on to Hwy 417 within 8 minutes, perfectly located for those commuting East or West.
With an abundance of outdoor space to enjoy, your child will get the benefits of fresh air and room to move. We have created short walking trails throughout the property, and designated play areas with many structures, toys, and activities to keep the children playing for hours. If the weather is nice, we are outside as much as is possible, from enjoying our story times outside on a blanket, to picnic lunches and snacks. An added bonus is a large covered porch, which allows us outside time even on the days that the rain would otherwise keep us inside.
Our time indoors will be spent in areas that were specifically designed for child care, and that provide an environment for learning, fun activities, and quiet times. With an open concept design, the home allows the children to enjoy the full first level of the home, without being limited to the daycare room.
My goal is to develop close personal relationships between myself and the children, as well as to encourage that between the children themselves. By limiting the number of children attending the day care, it enables more personalized interaction with each child that attends. My focus is on creating an environment that encourages creativity, personal expression and healthy interaction among the children.
This is a registered and insured Day Care business, and we conform to the rules and regulations stated by the Ministry of Education and Childcare Quality and Assurance Licensing Branch.
I am mother to my own 3.5 year old son, CPR and First Aid Trained, and very knowledgeable with allergies and anaphylaxis. You can feel comfortable knowing that all necessary precautions and adjustments will be made to ensure the safety and well being of each individual child.
When discussing the subject of allergies, it should be noted that family pets are present in the home, however are kept separately contained and apart from the children at all times.
The home is finished with wood floors to help provide easy clean ups, and to help reduce the presence of issues that may aggravate allergies.

Prices include healthy and delicious meals, snacks, and beverages. Costs are dependent upon it being a full or part-time position, and prices are calculated on a monthly or daily schedule.
Receipts are provided to all clients, and many references are available upon request. |
