Hello! My name is Darien and I am currently in the process of running a fully operational home daycare. Being a mother myself to a beautiful two year old boy I understand the necessity of finding an exceptional and reliable childcare system for your family.
Within my Dayhome you will expect to find the majority of what you would find in a licenced daycare. I am an Early Childhood Education student learning the in's and outs of running a childcare facility. I have found that organization, undivided attention, a positive attitude and a never ending supply of energy is the key to being successful. Addressing the first point, you will find that there will be plenty of organization going into my dayhome. It will not be a simple “babysitting” set up. I will have daily activities, occasional field trips, outdoor and indoor play, dress up days, themed days and much more. There will be plenty of available information for the parents such as, what was eaten for that day, if there were any accidents or occurrences that needed attention, etc. All will be filed into a binder made especially for your child and for your involvement with what goes on within Dee' s Dayhome.
Being around children since I was ten years old, taking care of siblings, cousins, friends of family, others and ultimately becoming a mother myself, I have found that my passion lays in childcare. I enjoy helping and encouraging a child's learning, growth and play. I hope to make childcare my lifelong career within the city of London, Ontario.
