I am a certified Early Childhood Educator with 6 years of daycare experience caring for children between 1 and 4 years of age. I am now looking to care for children, full or part time, in my own home. I have a 10 month old daughter and would love to find some children near her age so they can learn together.
I have completed all the current NB Early Childhood curriculum trainings as well as First Aid with Infant CPR. I am familiar with babysign as well basic bi-lingual teaching. I have experience with cloth diapers as well as disposable and would be happy to work with your system. I value whole food eating, and strive to provide tasty and healthy meals and snack for your little one.
I offer a good balance of free play and structured activity. Your children will practice skill building through play. I focus on both large and small motor skills, early language and introduction to literacy. I have a musical background and will employ song and rhythm exercises to teach and stimulate your children.
I am located in Morna, on the commute from Grand Bay to Saint John. I am offering a large indoor playspace (in a smoke-free house) as well as a large backyard with deck and green space.
